Booked our room through Expedia like always, checked in at 8 pm on 1/4/2020, thought it was odd when they asked to see my cc that I used to book the room but thought nothing of it. Check in was time consuming, gal at the front desk had to call manager from back to help her. (friends of ours was with and had booked the same way we did, mind you they did NOT have to provide their card which I thought was weird.) We got to our suite, the same one we usually get, nice, clean, and no issues. Checked out at 10:30 on Sunday, got home and just happened to check my c.c. and noticed 2 $50.00 pending charges and 1 $100.46 pending charge from the Hampton. I immediately called and talked to a manager who informed me that they were just for "deposit" purposes to check back on Wednesday. (This could of been an easy fix on Sunday, while charges were still pending but the manager on Sunday informed me that I shouldn't check in through a 3 party and mess-ups like this wouldn't happen.) I checked my card on Monday, all charges were still pending. On Tuesday I check and the 2 $50 pending charges were gone but the $100.46 charge was processed (WTF). I waited until 6:45 am to call them and was told that a manager would be there at 7 and she would have her call me. At 8 am no phone call from said manager. I called and talked to a gal, nice and said that a manager wasn't there yet. (Beings I am a manager I find it hard to believe.) At 10:16 I finally gave up on the Hampton manager to call me so I called Expedia and they called the motel. Read moreThe location is good, the breakfast is very tasty, the customer service is horrible and my room was dirty and it smelled like a dog and like wet-moldy carpet, there was also a dog toy in my room, we had 2 queen beds, one for my boys and the other for my husband and me, our bed smell like dog. Mrs. Aida is the opposite of the definition of Customer Service: she is foul-mouthed, and despot, she accused me and my family of wanting to commit fraud with the room in front of a lobby full of people, she blocked my digital key and told me that my relative must check us in (I did not stay with her because we had an event and she already had a full house). After humiliating us, Mrs. Aida continued talking about me and my family in the room behind the counter in the hotel lobby. I think that if I had wanted to commit fraud, I simply grabbed my suitcases and gone to another place, I stayed there until my family member arrived and helped me, so my question is, what is the purpose of the digital key? can you imagine that we would have arrived in the middle of the night, my children were already tired after being in the car for 9 hours, to live an experience as ugly as this? What about if my relative leaves in a different city? After this terrible experience, it is obvious that I do not recommend this place, I clarify this is my personal opinion of a situation that I experienced. Read moreI actually love the rooms, and the pool room. I’m giving it 2 stars because SAFTEY is extremely a major importance. My kids where in the pool and there where 10 people in the hot tub PLAYING VOLLEY BALL (7 where children) my husband worked a long day and needed to relax and couldn’t because parents let there kids in a hot tub when it’s for RELAXATION. But the big part is that the parents had 2 other kids in the pool with my kids and the kids kept standing on each others shoulders in the pool and falling back and hit my daughter (10 years old) in the head very hard. The parents where not even concerned enough to even apologize and on top let there kids continue to do that dangerous stunt. I went to report it to the front office and the lady said she will check and didn’t do a thing. I waited for her and the kids continued to do the dangerous stunt and still she never came to make sure people where being safe. We paid our money to stay here just like everyone else and we deserve respect. We didn’t get that from the front desk lady. I’m very disappointed.
And guys I let my kids in the hot tub too, but when I see people come in the pool room, (ADULTS) ima assume they need to relax. I’m going to tell my kids to get out and go to the pool. I try to be understanding because I know what it’s like to be a hard working adult and a parent and your body is going to be stressed and the hot tub is the one thing to help you relieve that.
