I have stayed here multiple times lately. All stays where between 2 and 5 days. There are a few good things, mostly bad. It is fairly close to the casino and there is a shuttle service. The price of the hotel is decent, but for what you get it seems over priced. My first time I booked online. At the front desk and also in the rooms are signs saying to call to get the best rate. I added a day to this stay by asking the front desk. After doing so I checked online and the price was 15% less if I would have booked online. The next visit I called first while I had the website open and again they quoted me a price about 15% higher. The next time I had to book thru the front desk as I had lost my credit card so needed to pay cash. I asked if they would honor the price on their website and the lady said they couldn't do that, something about getting commission. So apparently the signs they have up is false advertising. If you are looking for a one night stay the rooms are not terrible. It is in the triple digits currently so your room will be very hot when you arrive.. They turn the wall mounted AC off while no one is in it. Takes an hour or so to get to a comfortable temp on high and set on 60. The pillows are all flat. The bed is not bad. It is impossible to shower without getting water all over the bathroom floor. The shower curtains are terrible. If you want daily housekeeping you can forget it. They add a room cleaning fee to your booking but they won't go in during your stay. I had one stay of 5 days and never received housekeeping. On day three of that stay I went to the front desk about 230 to ask why I had not seen housekeeping, after all I put the maid service requested sign on my day for 2 days. The woman stated i must have had the do not disturb sign up(I didn't, I checked twice and took a picture to make sure) she then rolled her eyes and said they already left for the day. I asked if I could at least get fresh towels to which she seemed that was an impossible task but finally found some. I asked that housekeeping come to my room the next day. This of course did not happen. One stay there was ground up weed left in the dresser, I told the front desk and she said housekeeping would certainly come tomorrow. Three day stay and they never showed. In summary, deceptive advertising on prices, daily room cleaning fee even though you don't get daily room cleaning, rude customer service especially from the...
Read moreWe were driving cross-country, and made our reservation online for Catoosa Inn and Suites, for a pet-friendly hotel with an available room that also accepted a credit card with a different name than the reservation (my spouse's name). This was confirmed, and advertised, and the reservation was made. When we entered Catoosa Inn and Suites at midnight, the employee was immediately extremely rude in tone, refused to make eye contact, and told us the reservation could not be completed because the name did not match on the credit card. My spouse politely informed the front desk clerk we had checked the box for *Credit card name not same as reservation, and that the confirmation had gone through. We offered to provide our reservation number. He insisted it didn't matter, and that the name had to match the card - easy solution - I offered to use my ID instead of my spouses, as it matches my credit card. He then said "ok, then no pet rooms available." Mind you he saw us initially walk in with our dog as we stood there discussing matching credit card to reservation name (dog room advertised online, confirmed as available). We asked about the refund process. he said we had to cancel online. As we began the process of doing this on our phone, he asked us to leave the building. It was now 12:30am, and we were standing in an empty hotel parking lot off the highway, minus $90. Luckily the La Quinta Inn across the street from Catoosa Inn went out of their way to provide a room for us and our dog by 1 AM. Not only that, the front desk employee was so helpful and kind. Honestly, it it weren't for La Quinta, I don't know what we would have done. Be aware, I felt discriminated against simply for how I look, at Catoosa...
Read moreYou get what you pay for. Pros- Quiet enough area, other than a little road noise it felt nice and secluded. Wi-Fi was quick. Front desk staff were pleasant and willing to help. Cons- Our room was mostly tidy, but not very clean. What I'm hoping was soda was splattered on the wall by the bed, the bedspread had small but obvious yellow and brown stains on it, the carpet was ripped and stained, what looked like snot was wiped on the wall by the toilet, stains in the shower, coffee pot was dirty/sticky. The room looked thrown together hastily. The shower curtain wasn't all the way hung up, towels were sort of folded then thrown in place. There was random pieces of trash in strange areas, like a ripped piece of cardboard from a box of candy was on top the door frame. Neither my husband or I could sleep well from the pillows being the worst I've ever used. Breakfast was a waffle maker, juice station, coffee station (coffee was gross), two cereal dispensers (stale cereal), bread for toast and little debbie type pastries. There were ants crawling around the countertop, and on the juice dispenser. I had to go ask for someone to bring milk out for the cereal. It was done quickly, but then the lid fell off the pitcher and into my bowl because they hadn't secured it. An unattended child was trying to serve herself breakfast, couldn't reach most of it, so I helped her. An older gentleman came into the lobby/breakfast area, kicked off his shoes, gave himself a foot massage. The little girl was later seen cleaning rooms, alone, when we left. All in all, it was good enough, and only cost $68. But it definitely felt sketchy, and the cleanliness factor was a big...
