Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Catoosa

Sonic has always been known by their car hops & tasty shakes! The food as always been mid in my opinion. I went to this place to grab something quick before work & was fairly disappointed.

Service: I strongly dislike the idea of tipping places that simply put an order in the computer & hand it to you, but either way I still tipped before receiving my food. The lady on the speaker couldn’t hear anything I was saying even though I was practically screaming at the speaker, she sounded very moody (but I assumed it was a bad day, stayed patient, & still tipped!)… I got the food in good timing, but when she came to my car she didn’t say anything except “here”….. there was no “hello”, “how are you”, “did you have the __” or anything other than “here.” I’m unsure if she rolled her eyes but I could feel that type of energy 100%

Food: I ordered some Honey BBQ Wings & a Frito chili cheese wrap. My wrap tasted old & dry with stale Fritos (and wasn’t a good combo with the mushy old chili)… the wings on the other hand were worst in my opinion. They were VERY tiny pieces & too hard to put a fork into (I actually broke the fork trying to eat it). It felt like they just fried tiny pieces of gunk without the chicken! The sauce was a good flavor though! But they didn’t cover my “wings” AT ALL. Looked like someone put spoon full in the middle of my dry nuggets & thought “yup, perfect”.

Overall I was hungry & I’ve had worst food, but the combination of the attitude & laziness in delivering quality food made this...

I thought I had posted a text with my stars but it must have gotten lost. I am truly impressed that my review got a response. Honestly, I love Sonic. The food, drinks, atmosphere and the staff at the Catoosa branch are great! I gave two stars bc I ordered a chicken sandwich one day and the chicken was super hard and inedible. After trying to take one bite I threw it away and swore I wouldn't go back. After a few months, I was craving a cherry limeade so I swung in there and downloaded the app before I ordered so I could get my drinks half price. I guess I expected the app to be better equipped to handle all the choices that they offer. I was disappointed about not being able to add extra cherry syrup to my limeade. I ordered mango add in which turned out to be pretty good. I'm adding two stars to my review, one for the response from Sonic and one for how good the drinks really are!!!!!! I will add the fifth star when I finally get some food from there that is worth the $$ I paid for it and I get to...

We went and ordered using the app. It was placed at around 10:40pm. So it was later still before 11 pm when they stop taking online orders and almost hour and half before they close. It was a larger order at $40 worth. Our order included two orders of pickle fries. About 15 min I to waiting for order a carhop comes out to let us know they were out so we made subs for mozzarella cheese sticks and ched'r peppers. Another 15 or 20 min a carhop comes out with our food atating she wasn't our carhop. She apologized for the wait and gave me a few coupons for the long wait. She wasn't for sure so she asked if we had any drinks and I said no but I was going to order Rte 44 ocean water no sugar. She got it and didn't charge. So that was nice. We went home to eat then realizing the footlong quarter pound coney was missing. So I went back to get it. It's about a 10 min drive one way from home to sonic. Then had to wait 10 min or so in drive thru. Overall we got to sonic at 10:30 pm and had all our food and back...
