Don’t make a mistake like I did, go down the street to the KOA in Claremore! Had business at the Hard Rock and found this RV Park to be a very good and convenient location. Has some bad and some good reviews so booked a 3 night stay with a $40 deposit, 7 weeks in advance. The morning of the day we were to arrive the owner called me wanting the rest of his rent. Told him we would be late checking in so he said I’ll get the rent from you tomorrow and hung up. We arrived and the office was closed, no late check in instructions, nothing. I called him on the number he had called me earlier that day. No answer so I called the ER number he had in his VM greeting. Talked to Lance and he said he would make a call and call me back. Returned my call and told to go to space 43. I could take space 67 but he had others coming in and needed 67. This was all they had that they were full. Space 43 was not even a real space and it was like in the middle of the road. Space 67 was so unlevel and small we could not fit in it either. Called Lance back and he began talking down to me, saying he had engineers develop the park and said 40 foot RVs would fit. He told me that I would have been given a space number when I made the reservation. No space number had ever been given to me when I made the resv or when I talked to the owner that morning wanting more money from me. Lance also said the owner didn’t expect us that day but the next day, REALLY! Well Lance even a dumb women knows that her RV won’t fit in a small space. I gave the phone to my Husband and he informed Lance that we would not be staying in either of those spaces WE DID NOT FIT and we wanted a refund. Lance said he would talk to the owner and take care of the refund. I called them back after we got home and asked a second time for my refund and guess what, I’M STILL WAITING FOR MY...
Read moreLeft here 05/31/21, after spending 2 weeks. In my opinion, charge too much for what you get. It is on the location of a failed bar, which is still standing but gutted. Pads were narrow and broken up asphalt, water connections are at ground level almost flexible not rigid and sewage connections are, at least one foot, above ground level. Small grass strips, 3 to 4 feet wide between asphalt pads.Extremely muddy when it rains. Most occupants, although not " long term " are month to month. We often had late night arrivals backing in next to us, all sites are back-ins with no lighting. There is a severe need to repave the roads in the park. Lastly, park rules need to be distributed and enforced. We had a girls softball team come in 3 days ago and every night some parents would congregate with others at space # 1. Quiet time is from 10 pm to 8am, inebriated and loud, when they returned to the park, it was a rule they violated nightly, once to 12:45 am. Larry, the park host, is the best thing Hall of Fame has...
Read moreI’m only giving 3 stars because Hunter was so friendly. However, the park itself is not “hall of fame” status by any means. It’s more of a storage park and used for workers who are in town on a job. Which is fine but it is NOT a place to come and “camp”…our site was moved multiple times and when we arrived there was the contents of a spilled black tank allllll over the area we were expected to walk. We had to park about 10 feet closer to the road as to not drive into it. They did attempt to clean it by pouring bleach everywhere but that just foamed it up. We had to tip toe around and sanitize our feet and shoes every time we went in our camper. Felt safe, and the office and restrooms/showers were nice. Otherwise just a place to pass through if you’re needing...
