Stopped into the library to check out - what was according to our tour guide - a fabulous historical collection of cookbooks. After buying a large lemonade, I had to pee something fierce... As I headed for the bathroom, I was told that I would have to pay to join the library first. After my wife was also turned away, unless she paid to subscribe to see a cookbook collection, we left to walk to the parking garage on the corner to pee, as per their direction. Read moreMy husband and I were pretty upset because we had The library reserved for our photo shoot SEVEN months in advance, and we arrived in Charleston for the photo shoot, and they had chairs covering the entire first floor, leaving no spot for us to take photos because they had an orchestra planned for that evening. Told us we could not move chairs so we had to waste our photographers time coming up with a backup plan. Pretty unfair. Wouldn’t recommend...
