I used to love this place for its vegan options. Lately, however, the quality of the food has really changed. It no longer tastes fresh. Even the bread seems old and it’s just thrown together without much care. I ordered the vegan original today for pickup. It wasn’t available and I missed the calls they made to me to inform me (I ordered online). I appreciate them trying to reach me but then they didn’t inform the person picking up the order for me. They just left it out of the order. I called and found out what happened and sent the person back to pick up a different sandwich. Given the issues, I expected they’d take more care to make sure my replacement was prepared well. The bread is hard and crumbly, not like it’s been toasted, more like the bread is old. The vegan meat in the sandwich is cold. It’s not something that makes me want to return when I’d been a regular customer before. I just want them to get back to the superior quality of ingredients and care in sandwich making they once had. It will be a long while before I return, if I ever do. If anyone else is experiencing this same decline in quality and care I encourage you to post so they can get the feedback and hopefully fix it, especially for the...
Read moreI've been dying to try this place after all of the good reviews and its place on the Yelp Top 100 list. I don't live in the area, but it's definitely worth the drive!
It's fast casual so you order at the counter and then they bring the food to your table.
We got the Korean Banh Mi, the Porchetta Banh Mi, and the Pho-tine fries. All of it was amazing. I lean slightly toward the Korean Banh Mi flavor, but both were great. I didn't really like the crispy pieces in the Porchetta because I thought I was going to chip a tooth, but I just picked it out.
The owner was super friendly and brought us out free pork rinds which were probably the best I've had. The seasoning was incredibly and they were so soft. The service was also very fast.
For drinks, we started with a Thai Tea and then everything was so good I went back and got a Mango Fruit Shake and a Passion Fruit Fruity Tea. The shake and Thai Tea were my favorites, but the fruity tea was also very good. We obviously added bobba to all of them.
I highly recommend coming out of your way to come here! I'll definitely be back for more...
Read moreAmazing!!! Wow. I got this to go because I was really craving some Vietnamese food before work. Judging from the menu, they primarily serve banh mis, rice bowls, and vermicelli bowls. I didn’t see any pho on their menu but i can assume it’s because their delicious banh mi is the real star of the show.
WHAT I ORDERED: Grilled pork banh mi. Viet iced coffee with boba.
The TLDR: Bread 5/5: wow, so crunchy on the outside and supple in the middle. They make and toast this perfectly. Grilled pork 5/5: juicy, tender, and seasoned just right. Pickled veggies 5/5: right amt of sour and sweet.
Viet iced coffee with boba 5/5: Someone mentioned on yelp that it lacked the kick that usually comes with viet coffee, but it seems like they fixed that. The boba is also cooked well and sweetened just right.
Overall, just yum. I can’t wait to try the rest of their food. Definitely try this place out if you’re looking for a solid vietnamese restaurant...
