So my son and I use to frequent this place like every other week. Always ordered the tea refreshers. Always get pineapple and orange. The pineapple is bright yellow and the orange is orange colored. These last two times they have screwed up the orders and have attempted to gaslight me by saying the pineapple is orange and the orange is pineapple and the jellies were changing the colors of the syrup. So all of a sudden an orange tea refresher turns bright yellow when green apple jelly is added??? If anything it would make it a darker orange. And you’re trying to tell me that adding strawberry jelly to a pineapple tea refresher that’s always bright yellow will turn the color orange???? And you just added it so wouldn’t I see the colors meshing together or the color lifting from the jelly? My son ordered the same thing an orange refresher and when we got in the car he tasted his and said it was pineapple like I thought since it was bright yellow. I brought this to their attention and the girl in there had a nasty attitude about it. She slammed the drink on the table and says ā€œwell that’s the orange and there’s nothing we can do about.ā€ Even though it was bright yellow and my son said it tasted like pineapple. She spoke to me like she gave us the drinks for free. Usually we deal with a different staff but these last two times we went in there have been some different people making the drinks and BOTH times they have messed up the order and have been backed up taking 15-20 minutes per order. Last week they messed up and fixed the order and guess what??? The pineapple was bright yellow and the orange was orange regardless of the jellies when they fixed it. This time they even tried to blame it on the manufacturers. Never had problems before this. They don’t want to admit their mistakes so they rather lie to you and gaslight than just fix it properly. I told my son we won’t be going back...

I love banh mi and bubble tea, so Tea Fusion was an obvious stop.

We tried three banh mi sandwiches: the fusion special, the Korean, and the grilled pork. I think the grilled pork was my favorite followed closely by the Korean. While I really enjoyed them, I think they needed more jalepeƱo and crispier bread for my taste.

On the bubble tea side we got the Thai tea milk tea with boba and the lychee bubble tea over ice. You can get the bubble tea over ice or blended. Blended looked more like a smoothie and I prefer the milk teas. I loved the lychee bubble tea—it was my favorite between the two.

We obviously had to try the shaved ice cream. We got the taro with passion fruit popping pearls and mochi and the strawberry with mango popping pearls and passion fruit jelly. I loved the taro! I was not a fan of the strawberry. It tasted like artificial strawberry. The portion size was huge. One would definitely be enough to split with two people.

We came in a little after 2 on a Sunday and the place was packed. We were able to get a table, but by the time we left, I think all tables were full.

It's fast casual style and even though it's busy, you get your food pretty fast.

Overall, this is a great stop for fast...

I’m very disappointed. Will never be going back. I’ve been here multiple times, hate to say it but just feels like it just keeps going down.

It seems they are always out of something.

Took almost an hour to get two bahn mi sandwich and two drinks. In the many times I’ve been here, I have never waited this long before. They had full staff in the back running around prepping orders. Everyone who came in after were getting their drinks and food before us. They could’ve at least given us our drink and let us know they are still prepping the sandwiches and it’s going to take longer. Instead we had to wait almost an hour. Finally went to ask at the counter (I understand they were busy, but everyone it the back just kind of ignores you and don’t even acknowledge or try to see if you need help when standing in front of the pickup counter) and was told they were still prepping the sandwiches. Finally got our order after a few minutes after we asked. If we didn’t ask we probably won’t ever get it.

Very...

At last, I've found flavored shaved ice in Charlotte! Until now, I've had to go down to Atlanta (Suno) to get my fix. Snow cones and shaved ice with syrup on top just does NOT compare to soft, creamy shaved ice, sometimes also called "snow" like they have in Hawaii. Tea Fusion Cafe even had multiple flavors, although it looks like you can only get one per menu item, along with 2 toppings. We got taro topped with multi-flavored mochi and egg pudding, and --the key-- condensed milk drizzled on top. For $5.50, it was the perfect no-guilt sweet treat. Looks like they've got the other Asian snacks I've been craving on any given afternoon too! (Eg Popcorn chicken and banh mi sandwiches if you're more hungry.) Nice lounge-like decor too. If we lived closer, we'd be hanging out here a lot...

I love Tea Fusion! They have a varied menu of options for bubble tea, milk tea, slushies, as well as specialty drinks with a huge assortment of toppings for them. They also have great food. My favorite is the Bulgogi Banh Mi! Whether you're looking for a quick boba fix with some friends, or a nice place to do both dinner and dessert, Tea Fusion won't let you down. I only recently got brave enough to try actual bubble tea (the Oreo bubble tea is my favorite), but my usual go to is the lychee/pomegranate slushies with lychee jellies and cherry poppers. So. Dang. Good. Even in the winter. You have to try Tea Fusion. Go out of your way to try this place. Also there are tons of other places to eat in the area, so you can just grab bubble tea after dinner if you want.
