EXPRESSIONS Gallery - Open by Appointment in Winter — Attraction in Chatham

We are fortunate to own two prints of Steve Koppel's amazing photography of Cape Cod's seashore. His Expressions Gallery in Chatham is equally stunning. The warm welcome from Steve and his staff and the layout of his works with each image getting its own space to shine leads to an inspiring and enjoyable visit. From photo to photo, from sunrise to sunset, you walk along the beautiful shores and flats of the Cape. You can see Steve's skill in capturing various combinations and precise moments when water, sun, shore and sky come together in incredible natural convergence. The Gallery is equipped to allow you to see your chosen image as it will appear in your home. We provided Steve and his staff the measurements of space above the mantle of our fireplace along with a photo and they were able to email us pictures of exactly how it would look in that space. This can also be done on-site as well. For our recent purchase our questions were thoughtfully answered and with their expertise we have our "Golden Shores" in the perfect frame and in the best size for our room. Although our home is not near the ocean, we have a beautiful Cape Cod water view each day thanks to Steve and Expressions Gallery. We plan to visit just about every time we drive to Chatham. My wife and I first discovered this amazing gallery in the summer of 2023. Expressions gallery was a real part of our falling in love with Chatham. Stopping in to "take a look" turned into a several hour pleasure tour of Cape Cod by way of Steven Koppel's highly tuned eye and our first purchase. Not only did we purchase After the Storm, but we fell in love with his entire body of work. The gallery, which is gorgeous, hosts beautiful images from all over Cape Cod. One of his favorite locations, Brewster Flats provides amazing images. His work is incredibly expressive. The movement, the palette, the feelings evoked are beautiful. There is no comparison to other galleries. Be sure to inquire about their classes, workshops, and all of their goings on. Impressive. Last September, we spent a month in Chatham and considered ourselves fortunate to have wandered in to Expressions Gallery. We were immediately impressed with the wonderful images and with our conversations with Steve. His talent and passion are evident, and besides, he is a genuinely nice and interesting guy! We left with copies of several images to try in our home when we returned to Florida. We ended up waiting until the 2023 images became available to make our selection. Steve remained in touch with us and, with his software, made purchasing our selection an easy process. Through emails and a Zoom call, we could see how the image would look in our dining room.
