Rally House Garden State Pavilions — Attraction in Cherry Hill Township

I had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience at this store. I came in with a receipt to return a few items—yes, the tags were missing, but one of the employees was willing to assist me and proceed with the return. Out of nowhere, the manager Nate interjected rudely and very condescendingly said, “We’re not taking the stuff back with no tags.”

As a more masculine-presenting gay woman, I immediately felt judged and singled out. The tone and body language were not only unprofessional but made me feel blatantly disrespected and, quite honestly, discriminated against. When I tried to ask for clarification and said “I have the receipt” several times, the manager snapped with, “What don’t you understand?”—and at that point, I was done. I admit at that point I got upset and aggressive but I’m never like that unless provoked. Another manager tried to get involved and at that point I felt bombarded and attacked by 3 grown men. At that point they wouldn't even process the return on the items that did have the tags. I reported these individuals to their corporate office. Corporate was also able to send me a shipping label to return my items by mail, yet this store didn’t want to help me.

The staff here are rude, dismissive, and clearly lack proper training in both customer service and basic human decency. The items were not even a week old and were not used or worn. They did nothing to try and help the customer. They are the exact stereotype that gives Philly a bad reputation. I will never shop here again, and I strongly urge others in the LGBTQ+ community—and anyone who expects basic...

I went to this location because the Evesham didn’t have my size of some items I wanted. As soon as I walked in the door everyone was so helpful. They had the items ready and I was able to try them on. Everyone was so nice I purchased another item for my daughter. They didn’t have the size so they located the item at another location. They offered to have the item shipped directly to me. It was a breathe of fresh air working with this staff because the Evesham team was not that helpful except the one person who contacted Garden State. Also, l witnessed one of the employees purchased balls for three little boys who were being real little boys to keep them occupied. The parents were so grateful and they were able to look around. I have NEVER had such a Great shopping experience as I did at Rally House Garden State Pavilions the other day! The fellow was SOOO helpful in helping me find the Exact Phillies magnet I was looking for! He also showed me around the lovely store, and I cannot wait to go back and purchase the Phillies top I want!! Will be back for all my local sport teams items!!!
