Let me start off by saying the salesman was extremely nice. I went in to purchase a second entertainment center after buying one a few months earlier. I selected one and was told it came fully assembled just as I was seeing it. I chose to pick it up instead of having it delivered because that was no problem for me. When I tried to pick it up I was told I couldn't pick it up that day and that they had specific pickup days and I would have to wait until either Wednesday or Friday to pick it up. The lady also mentioned that no one would help load it into the truck. I decided to have the doorstep delivery done instead. When the two gentlemen arrived with the entertainment center, the box was torn and had a huge gash. My husband asked to open it and make sure that everything was okay inside. They were both appalled that we wanted to do this. Everything was fine and we took it inside and started putting it together because it in fact was not assembled as I was told. Part of the reason I chose this one was because it came fully assembled, which means less hassle. Putting it together was okay at first, until pieces of the wood started splitting. The holes were pre-drilled and this shouldn't have been an issue. In other places, pieces of the wood also started splitting off. When we got to the final step, putting on the back, it didn't even fit. It was cut too short to secure on each side. I went back to the store and asked if I could exchange it. They said yes. My husband was opposed to this idea because it was already put together and he didn't want to haul it back to the store. He made some modifications and we decided to keep it even though the entire back of the stand couldn't be attached. I stopped in to tell them we were going to keep it and the salesman took me to the store manager and explained what had happened. He inquired if there was anything they could do since I had paid good money and the product was not satisfactory, but I was going to keep it. I had pictures to back up my claims. The store manager's solution was to tell me he'd give me a VIP discount on the next thing I bought. After some thought, I don't like that. I have to buy something else for you to make this right? After getting something that I was told was assembled and it wasn't, being told I could pick it up anytime and I couldn't, having delivery guys that were jerks, and then having a crappy product that didn't even go together properly and has huge pieces that splintered off (which the store manager also suggested I use a marker on to cover), I have to buy something else for you to do anything? Read moreI special order a recliner in April 2023. When the recliner arrived in May it was much too small for me. I promptly called and talked to the manager Kevin Burk who assisted me with the original order. He responded that the wrong chair was ordered and that he would re-order the correct chair. When the 2nd chair arrived in June it was not electric as I had previously ordered, it did not have the adjustable headrest, nor any of the special features on the original chair. I spoke to Kevin again and was told it was not available on this chair design. I agreed to accept the chair but felt like I was owed a partial refund as it had fewer features. Kevin agreed to a reduced price of $1200 and promised a refund of $254.98 dollars. After he failed to return multiple phone calls I went to the store and spoke with Kevin on 2 occasions. The 1st time he stated it would take an additional "billing cycle" to appear, the 2nd time he stated that the request didn't go through and he would send it through again as we stood there. Refund did not appear again, and Kevin continued to ignore repeated phone calls. Request to speak to someone above his head resulted in communication with Nick Daniels who responded that he would speak to Kevin to investigate the situation and then failed to return call for further response. Addition communication attempts has failed to result in any response as well.
Addendum: And yet, I still do not have my refund! Because the refund that I was promised all those months ago, which was only "resolved" because I reported to the BBB, was sent to a PAID OFF ACCOUNT. So, I continue to wait until it can be processed by the finance company and forwarded to me. I might mention too that Nick did inform me, the one and only time he responded to my complaint, that the refund would come back to me because "it had nothing to do with the finance company." Read moreI went into the Clarksville In location 2 weeks ago. Purchased a living room set on credit of course with money down. I explained in purchasing this product I wanted exactly what was listed on the internet package. Which was a reclining loveseat and couch and a power glider recliner. I even purchased an extra recliner for xtra seating. Once my furniture arrived and was delivered I realized neither of the recliners glided but were stationary. I called this issue in the very next day where I was told then I was calling within the 72 hour window and that someone would get back with me. They sent out two techs where they both stated we were correct they were not delivered as gliders as listed on the internet that they would turn in their findings and someone would get back with me. Low and behold I called multiple times with no response back at all. It took me calling today for them to tell me there is nothing they can do. It is now updated on their website to say just a power recliner instead of glider along with it is now listed as a clearance item with no returns. When I purchased this product it was only listed as an outlet package. I will no longer do business with this company and don't recommend anyone else do so either. They could have done anything to make this right like give money back for the inconvenience. Take this package back and let me come in to choose something different but nothing. What they have done is not good business nor how you treat customers. Im not sure what the better business offices can do but best believe I will be opening a claim.
