Honestly, just ordered through DoorDash and was so disappointed. I ordered tumeric milk, a green smoothie, and two breakfasts. I was ready for a long wait time. As DoorDash told me it would take about 90 minutes to fulfill my order. I wasnāt expecting it to come lukewarm/cold. The driver hadnāt taken that long long to deliver my food. The smoothie was filled about an inch away from the top, which I could have overlooked. Yet it was so watered down/lukewarm i threw it in the freezer. So waiting to drink that. But the tumeric milk was gross because it was cold. Iād assume if you get an order you make sure to make hot drinks right before the driver gets to you, so you know your giving out product you would be proud of. At least thatās what I did when I was a barista. Now letās get to the breakfast bols. They where small and cold and the whipped goat cheese tasted too salty . And after eating mine, Iām really really hungry. 40 bucks down the drain. Iām more so angry about the drinks. I hate to write these kinds of reviews but Having worked in all aspects of running a restaurant and cafe this was ridiculous! I understand being burnt out. But be proud of your work. Push out product you would want to pay for. If itās anything less your just not doing your job. Regardless of how much you get paid, (yes iv made 7 bucks an hour and worked my butt off to give good customer service) care...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAlthough I didn't order any food (so technically I can't accurately comment on that) I DID have a WONDERFUL experience at Rebol.
That day I had traveled all around town trying to get some personal matters finalized so I can continue making money for college and so, naturally, I was cold and tired. My phone was on 2% and I had no idea if I was going to be able to get on the bus before it died so I went inside Rebol and crossed my fingers that they would be nice and let me use a charger.
Not only was I greeted with one of the warmest welcomes I've ever received, but the staff went through all the chargers until she found one that could charge my phone. I was able to safely warm up for about 15 minutes while doing some homework and listening to the phenomenal Playlist that put me in an even better mood. So heres my breakdown.
Service: Was immediately greeted in a friendly manner Helped me charge my phone The staff actively talked to me like a guest
Atmosphere: The restaurant was really clean and felt nostalgic somehow The music was the best Perfect temperature for how cold it was outside
I didn't get any food this time but I will be returning soon. These folks...

I stopped in with a co-worker, when we first arrived in the city. We got inside and promptly had our order taken by a friendly staffer. My order contained rice, tuna, a sesame sauce (I think...), scallions, corn salsa, and pickled vegs. Now, while the individual bits of food were good, they did not go together for me. The rice seemed a bit cold, which I suppose didn't match my expectation - not to the fault of the waitstaff. The portion was rather small considering the price point (take Chipotle for reference... Obviously, supplychain taken into consideration: they can afford to deal more for less), but similarly it left me wanting more.
Low hanging fruit for management: iterate the tortilla. It tasted a little like movie popcorn to me. Like the the dish's combined elements: not as pleasant in this context! Perhaps refine on the recommendations about which dish components go together per customer expectation (I asked about Asian vibes, so the cheesiness in the corn salsa didn't really do the trick for me).
Keep up the cleanliness and maintaining the consistently...
