Dollar Tree — Attraction in College Station

2 weeks before Halloween I went to this dollar tree to find Halloween things and they were closed in the middle of the day due to “ac issues”. I go back the next day at 6:30 and they had a sign up saying their new temporary hours were 9-5. Frustrated, I go the next day around 2 and they had already taken all the Halloween stuff down and had literally nothing on the aisles entering the store where their usual current holiday stuff is. I try to go today at 4:16 pm for items I need for garage sale signs and they have NEW temporary hours saying 8-4. I sat in my vehicle parked directly in front of the store and 4 different groups of people walked up trying to pull on the doors and a lady came out at one point telling everyone they were closed and everyone walked away visibly annoyed. This store needs to do better or just close and say everyone the time and effort to just go to a different dollar tree. Even while typing the end of this people are still walking up to the doors trying to figure out why...

Ruth is awesome and don't let her outdated name tag fool you she has worked there going on 5 years which isn't the only reason that she is the manager.

She greeted me in the the isle and then offered to assist me in locating anything.

She led me to the plastic tarps instead of just pointing to them or giving an isle number.

Then when she noticed a few people in the checkout line she opened another register, continued to converse with me while working and then to top it all off she invited me back again.

With friends like Ruth working there I would be a fool not to go back.

Here it says it's closing soon, 10pm when in fact they close at 4pm everyday. Three times now I've tried to shop there and they were closed, today I got there at 3:50pm and was trying to walk in when the girl met me at the door saying they had no ac on and was closing. I informed her this was the 3rd time I recently tried shopping there and they were closed. I told her today that I would not take more than 5 minutes and again she said at door they were closing
