As I was planning my trip to Charleston I asked a local group which garden centers to visit. Abide a while garden center was the number one suggestion and it just so happened that it was on the way to my brother's home. I was blown away by their selection of plants that are seemingly rare in Greenville, yet so plentiful and yet reasonably priced here. They had a tie constellation on display that is absolutely stunning. Of course, it's not for sale, but one can only hope. They have a generous selection of Hoyas and even rare sansevieras. I definitely plan to visit again before journeying back home. So happy to have stumbled upon this gem and met all the wonderfully crazy plant people.

I really love this place. They don’t have the biggest selection of plants in the city, but the ones they get are unique and healthy. They have the biggest air plants I have EVER seen. I recently got a string of pearls and was worried about reporting it myself and they said when it outgrows its pot to bring it back and they’ll do it for me! Love that. The boutique part inside is also really nice. I got some Christmas ornaments during the holiday sale. Great place for gifts.

We are from central Florida on vacation and when they found about our recent engagement this weekend, the sweet girls working the boutique shop surprised us with a special gift to remember. Thank you!! We will definitely be back to say hello and buy tons more of our favorite fragrant roses!

I want to love this place. Beautiful store, lovely set up, good selection. And every milkweed plant i bought here was COVERED in pesticide. I specifically asked if the plants had any pesticide because I saw small holes where the monarchs had hatched - but no caterpillars. They assured me, repeatedly, that there was no pesticide. That these plants are for pollinators, their supplier knows not to spray them. I already had about 60 caterpillars at home, I had just ran out of leaves. Low and behold, their plants killed over a dozen monarchs. It was heartbreaking. First the caterpillars vomit all over themselves, then they become lethargic. Then they fall to the ground where they expire. This is a classic...

Had a wonderful experience here today! The person who helped me (really wish I got her name) was super helpful. She helped me find several cat-safe plants I was looking for (note I'm not sure that they can make recommendations for this, I came with a list of pet safe plants) and took the time explain the care needed for each of the ones I picked out. I usually go to a different popular plant nursery in Charleston where the staff has been pretty rude to me each time so this experience was very refreshing! I will definitely only go here now. Oh and also I found everything I was looking for plus a few more!!...
