I went here after seeing some appealing Rockabilly dresses on display--the place has a Hot Topic vibe to it but is still different in its own way. Their on-site location has a wider selection than their online store, so if you can, I'd go to where their store is actually located. The neighborhood that the store is located is kind of shady, but nothing too serious to worry about as the area is mainly quiet and frequented by students. Besides, it's just a few minutes away from UNLV, which is a plus for anyone that lives on or near campus.
The staff was friendly to me and helped me pick out some rockabilly/psychobilly dresses that I could wear. Mainly, they don't bother you unless you ask for assistance.
Other than that, the selection at Cash 4 Chaos is varied but definitely pricey if you're going to buy women's clothing. The t-shirts, however, are reasonably priced and definitely cheaper than getting them at Hot topic.
There are a lot of rare shirts and band patches as well that you can't get anywhere else--if you want your Rancid/Bad Religion/Crass or whatever gear, then this place is the go-to place for it. The shirts/patches they sell include but are not limited to:
Agent Orange, Agnostic Front, Black Flag, Charged G.B.H., Dead Kennedys, D.I., Discharge, Dr. Know, D.R.I., Minor Threat, Misfits, The Exploited, Suicidal Tendencies, etc.
They even sell some metal band shirts here--saw some Slayer shirts that only cost 13 bucks. However, their selection for metal t-shirts is limited compared to their punk rock shirts. They mainly sell thrash metal band shirts because hey--thrash metal got part of its roots from hardcore punk, anyway.
Regardless, Cash 4 Chaos still has a wider inventory than Hot Topic. I know that Hot Topic is now beginning to sell other punk stuff besides Misfits, but they pale in comparison to Cash 4 Chaos' offerings.
There's various other goodies you'll find around the shop: walls and walls of obscure vinyls for obscure bands--mainly punk, obviously. There's some kinky stuff here and there, some horror punk stuff on display and waiting for you to buy, steampunk hats galore--you name it, Cash 4 Chaos has every kind of 'punk' merch for sale.
They even have stuff for baby bats, too--found some cute kids-sized clothing when I was there.
I think this place is worth a visit if you're looking for a place to buy your alternative apparel besides Hot Topic or the Bettie Page Store (for you rockabilly/psychobilly chicks out there that want your retro stuff at a slightly...
Read moreMy name is Atom T. L. Yorke, and, WOW. Where do I even begin?!?! This shop is THE. COOLEST.
The merchandise is high quality, freaking gorgeous (I'd buy everything in here if I could!!) and although some items are quite pricy, others are really affordable!! They sell completely unique items, for men, women, non-binary, adults and children alike! They always have stuff you can find no-where else, and if you keep a keen eye on their products you can spot crazy amazing unique pieces, sometimes for really cheap, on occasion!
And then there's the customer service!!! My GOD!!! Every single staff member is so nice, attentive and knowledgeable! They make it such a joy to come into the shop, as it's a small store they all get to know you if you visit often!
Not to mention the coolest part, which is the employees always make my little sister's day! They always talk to her and are so sweet and make her smile so much, either by silly jokes, a fistbump/highfive, or sometimes they'll give her a small low-priced item for free for being good in the store!
They are the sweetest, kindest people and the atmosphere here is just ravishing if you're into rock/metal/punk/gothic clothing and music!
I could not recommend this shop higher, I would rate it 10000/10 if I could!! I go here almost every week, and the products change rapidly, so there's always new stuff to be seen!
Overall, if you like gothic merch of any kind, (especially if you're a goth, scene, metalhead, and/or punk rocker!) Please, PLEASE, P L E A S E check out Cash 4 Chaos!! You will not regret it! In fact, like with me, it may become your new favourite hidden treasure of Vegas! If you need a sign on whether to visit this place or not, here it is; GO HERE. It's too rad to pass by. However there is ONE con with all these pros. You will want everything they sell. And I mean EVERYTHING. It's...
Read moreA Hauntingly Intriguing ExperienceâBut I Brought Clutched My Cross the Entire Time
Listen, I stepped into this store feeling like an unsuspecting extra in a Edwards Scissorhands, and let me tell youâI'm skating writing this review.
The selection?
Absolutely next-level. More than just the usual skulls and pentagramsâthis place is a curated museum of gothic excellence. Velvet, lace, leather, metalâif itâs dark, dramatic, and just a little bit unsettling, theyâve got it.
I was intrigued (and, letâs be real, slightly praying the entire time), but I had to admit, the merchandise was top-tier.
Now, full disclosureâthe satanic music playing in the background was a spiritual mismatch for me, and I was definitely counting my blessings while browsing. But hey, if this is your vibe, youâve officially found your shopping sanctuary.
I ended up purchasing two items because I needed them for a same-day event, and I will sayâthe quality and style were impressive. Whether youâre a hardcore goth, a Halloween enthusiast, or just need a dramatic outfit in a pinch, this is the place to be.
Would I come back?
Well⌠letâs just say that one time experience was a lifetime moment.
If you live for the dark aesthetic, though? This is your must-shop destination, large selection of music, tees, shoes, posters, accessories, trendy, and fashionable.
