Marketplace at Tech Center — Attraction in Poquoson

I am amazed to hear that Whole Foods store is a nice place to shop. But recently a few weeks ago, my daughter, son and I went to take a visit for the very first time. I enjoy the variety of things the store had to offer. I was pleased with the store. But what upset me was the rude unpleasant attitude I received from the sales associate that work in the store. First thing first, never judge anyone and never make poor judgement about someone. Secondly, my son is a little boy, like most children his age. He gets excited about a toy ball he see in the store. My son picks up the ball assuming that he can ask me (mom) if I would buy the ball for him. At the same time my daughter and I are amazed at the different varieties of different soap collection. Before I could say anything to my son about the toy ball he was admiring. The sales associate took it upon herself to tell my son to put the ball down and that he should not touch the toy ball before he could get my attention. By this time I get upset because of the way the sales associate talk to my son. Whole Foods store should not have emplyoees working for them that can not have excellent good decent customer service skills. The way this sales associate demonstrate how she represent Whole Foods store was not acceptable. She was out of line to tell my son anything. Being that this was my very first time visiting Whole Foods. The sales associate ruin my first visit to Whole Foods store. Customer service is a must when being employed with job. Whole Food store needs to make this young lady to be held accountable for her lack of customer services to paying customers. This young lady approach was ridiculous and wrong. When I go to the Marketplace Shopping Center , I always shopped at Steinmarts , but I am sad to say that they are closed now ! 😥 I do however shop at Ulta Cosmetics store ! I'm like a kid in a candy store ! Ulta has many of the top cosmetics lines as well as the lower priced lines as well . Plus there are lots of sales people around to answer your questions, show you where things are and most of the top of the line Cosmetics companies have trained skincare and makeup artists to explain and demonstrate whatever you are interested in. They will even give you a makeover using the products on whichever line they work for , for free ! Ulta not only carries Cosmetics but designer fragrances for women and men . Also they carry many different brands of hair care products including curling irons , blow dryer's , brushes and combs , headbands and hair ribbons . Most Ulta stores have a hair salon inside the store ! No appointment necessary ! Oh I almost forgot , they carry many different brands of nail polish and nail care products ! Everytime you make a purchase , you earn points towards a discount on future purchases and from time to time they have coupons in the Sunday...

After getting my make up done here for A BLACK TIE EVENT, this is the absolute worst place I’d recommend. I paid $60.00 for the formal make up and $10.00 to tip the artist (because regardless of how bad she did. I’m not going to not tip her appropriately.) I was getting my makeup done and I was surrounded by the other salon workers, staring at how “pretty” it was. After seeing my face I began to think that they were mocking me. When I put my glasses on and saw my face I was greeted by neon pink and green eyelids with black eyebrows, horribly done and an orange face and neck. I was horrified. I would not even go into Walmart to buy make up wipes. I looked like the 80’s threw up on my face. After putting my trust into this artist, I told her “I trust that you will make me look good” she said “you might get some of my best work”.
