HAIL - RECORDS & ODDITIES — Attraction in Covington

I’m going to hope there was a misunderstanding…(hence the 3 stars) I called to ask if they had any Lords of the New Church music there, and I was told immediately “we don’t carry that here.” This store specializes in goth, metal, and punk music…Perhaps they thought I was asking about a different sort of music, but not to carry the Stiv Bators led supergroup of the 1980s at all…just seems a little odd to me…hopefully it was a misunderstanding…I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt….

Yes, I definitely called “Hail - records & oddities.” I specifically called you guys because I thought if anyone would have The Lords of the New Church, you guys would.

Not sure why I was told you didn’t carry them…Glad to hear that you are fans.

it took a while to understand that I was taken advantage of. I did not deserve to have the owner laugh in my face when I was speaking out loud to help me process information.

I was selling a set of raccoon bones for grocery money to help get me food.

how he treated me when I was genuinely trying to be kind & was being honest about my set of bones hella destroyed my self esteem.

I didnt deserve that ~ lesson learned.

I just didn’t appreciate being laughed at while trying to communicate to the best of my ability while I looked so heavily up to you for inspiring my taxidermy journey.

This place is the absolute coolest! The staff are really awesome as well. I bought a taxidermied duckling while visiting Covington. When I brought it home my three year old daughter quickly got attached to "Bobby Quacky" as we named him. Well Bobby Quacky got left where the dog could get him and ended up in pieces. My three year old was heart broken and so I ordered another from Hail Records and Oddities website and sent an email with a picture of our duckling before and asked them to pick one who resembled Bobby Quacky if possible. They responded promptly saying they picked the closest duckling they could. They did a great job at picking out a new "Bobby Quacky". My three year old is thrilled and loves her new Bobby Quacky. Thanks again Hail...
