The Bishop Arts District — Attraction in Dallas

Amazing hip area to hang out with friends, do a photoshoot to upgrade your Instagram feed, or simply to people-watch. I love how everyone here makes an effort to look nice. You can see all sorts of street fashion, even elegant evening wear. Some people really think they are going to the red carpet! LOL. At night, there is live music and vibrant bars. In the summer, you can catch all sorts of flea markets, French Bastille day celebration, even a dog adoption show. Throughout the year, depending on the season, there are displays of Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas, and New Year all over the place for those fashionistas to do their photoshootd. Cool little area with a fair amount of restaurants, bars, and independent shops. Basically you come here to eat, drink, shop, or take a stroll. I didn’t see a lot of murals…but then again I wasn’t looking for them as this was a quick stop before my flight back home. All the shops I ventured into had overpriced goods so I was really just window shopping and taking pictures. What a fun day! It was my first time there so had no idea what to expect. Sundays are slow to start. A lot of stores don't open until noon so plan accordingly. It's so cute. Lots of cool murals to take photos of. Lots of one of a kind shops. There are tons of places to eat at. From upscale Paradiso to hole in the walls that have cool vibes.
