The Scent Room - An Elevated Perfumery — Attraction in Dallas

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Today was my first day visiting The Scent Room, but it definitely won’t be my last! This place is more than a room filled with a few perfumes that you walk around,spritzing perfumes on a scent card. It’s a stylish, boutique-like store with a plethora of popular and more unique niche fragrances where you will have an amazing experience! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Austin, who was absolutely amazing! He took time to get to know me, what types of fragrances I liked, and introduced me to a whole new world of niche fragrances that I didn’t know existed. Not only was he helpful and personable, but extremely knowledgeable. He told me the back stories of a lot of the fragrances and their makers, which made the experience of finding the perfect scent for me that much more enjoyable. All of their fragrances have the notes printed on the bottles, so you’ll never be left guessing what it is that you’re smelling. The staff are also very knowledgeable about the different notes in different fragrances, as well as what fragrances and notes pair well with others. As time passed, a few more frequent flyer customers entered. Austin knew all of them by name and was equally as helpful to them too. The Scent Room offers a familial, intimate, and friendly atmosphere that you just can’t experience anywhere else. I love fragrances, and seeing a group of wonderful people gather in one place to discuss their love of fragrances too made this place feel like home! Before I knew it, two hours has gone by! Not once did I feel pressured to buy a fragrance like you do in larger department stores. I was encouraged to smell and try everything. See what works, and what doesn’t. Try it on my skin before making a commitment. In the end, Austin helped me find my signature scent! I can honestly say that after spending almost 3 hours here, I will never go anywhere else to buy...

Today I had an exceptional initial shopping experience at The Scent Room.

Let me preface that although I love testing and buying perfumes, I do not enjoy the typical department store shopping experience.

After reading endless profusely glowing Google reviews about The Scent Room and Fran’s service, I decided to push past my previous shopping experiences and was greatly rewarded.

I was warmly welcomed into the shop, which was roomy enough to explore a large variety of perfumes that are hard to find and aren’t easily encountered at your typical department store.

As I was introduced to exciting perfumes, both returning customers were welcomed like old friends, and new customers were given guidance. All were superbly attended to simultaneously without a hitch.

Fran is really in her wheelhouse here, her passion for people and fragrances both shine and make for a luxurious, laid back experience. I felt like I was shopping with an old friend who was putting me in the know on hidden gems in the perfume world, easily tailoring suggestions to my preferences.

I can't even come to the amount of words of how amazing my experience was here. I came in yesterday and it was my first time EVER at a cologne store. Usually I go to mall colognes and all but I usually don't like it because they bombard you with trying to make you buy something. When I came in here it was so refreshing! AUSTIN WAS BEYOND AMAZING!!!!! He's so passionate about his work that makes you develop a better love for smells. I love how he let's you do your own thing until you want a suggestion from him. Offered me water and champagne it was magnificent! I love how he tracks what your nose likes and recommends things according to what you like. He pays attention to detail and really blends in well with your scent. He's not forceful but very inviting which I LOVE! He allows you to have FULL control over your choices. You'll come here looking for one thing and end up being turned on to a WHOLE new smell. I was in there for about and 1 and a half I believe. When you're there ask for AUSTIN that man is amazing and a deep TREASURE for the store! All in all it was an extraordinary experience.
