Pure rudeness. I've been there a couple of times for a late night coffee run and one of the employees were EXTREMELY rude. First off, when I was ordering about four drinks and asked for separate transactions he got very rude with me and acted like he was annoyed. This was long before something about the new Starbucks reward system has come out. Secondly, long before the Starbucks reward system actually changed, one of the employees, the one with short gray hair about 5'7-8"ish old guy(same guy as the first experience), told me the reword system was activated starting today(around February or March)and told me I will get my stars even if I do not make separate transactions. I believed him and just purchased my drinks in one transaction. I did not receive the rewards and only got one star for my drinks. Then in March, I went there and did not complain about what happened. When I asked for separate transactions, he told me once again that "today" was the day the new system was applied. I told him that the email I've received from Starbucks said April. He kept being rude and did not listen to me. I asked for separate transactions. He finally made the transaction, but he was still rude till the end. The last time I went there the same guy was still working and my mother wanted some baked goods so we asked if they had the blueberry scones and he said no(extremely rudely.) Then I asked for a brownie and said they do not have those either. Then we decided to purchase a sandwich and after the purchase I asked for it to be heated up and he said the oven or whatever was already turned off.(still sounding rude) I have NEVER written a review before in my entire life, but I am writing one hoping the manager of this Starbucks is informed. Like some of the comments before me, the coffee is burnt too much, but the taste isn't that bad. Just REALLY poor...
Read moreThis place used to be good. I've been here over a hundred times over the years.
It has now decayed to the point where I will never set foot in here again.
The place is packed with unpleasant customers. The staff consists of obnoxious hipsters who act entitled and incompetent lately.
When they're sweeping the place they lock the front door, making people use the side entrance. For no reason. And the sweeper is incredibly rude about it.
They are regularly out of stock of most of the things I want. I never run into this problem at other locations.
The wifi has problems more than half the times I come here. And by problems, I mean that it doesn't work for anyone. The staff doesn't care.
Parking is a nightmare.
It wasn't always like this. It used to be a fantastic location and well-run. Now it's as if the lunatics have taken over the asylum.
I met the love of my life at this location, so it's sad that I'll never come back here again. There are better locations nearby, such as McKinney & Allen, Inwood & Lemmon, and Mockingbird Station. Go to those places, and avoid this one until Starbucks corporate moves in to clean...
Read moreI was with my running group early on Saturday morning and we were glad to see a Starbucks for a potty break. For us it's better than a porta potty and we were very respectful. There were 6 of us but we left it as clean as we found it. One of us even bought an over priced granola bar but were proud that we didn't bother the 2 barista's working that morning at all. We thought they would be glad. As I was leaving I called out a thank you and have a great morning to one of them and she replied "don't come back", exactly that. I wish I had stopped and asked her to repeat it and ask her name and if I could get the owners opinion of that statement but none of us did. It is also noteworthy that two of our runners are Muslim and had the head scarfs on. I don't know that it was directed at them or anyone in particular but really? Do you really want to say that to anyone? I do plan on going back however. I'm actually looking forward to it now that I am prepared and won't be shocked...
