The first 2-3 times I had this place, it was great. I order the OG Phat Thai with chicken everytime. Each time I ordered, it was consistent in flavor and texture. The last two times I’ve gone it has not been the same. The first time, the noodles were overcooked and it tasted different than it normally does. I politely asked for a remake (because of course, when you’re craving your favorite place, you want it to taste the same), got a bit of back and forth from the cashier but they ultimately remade it and it was perfect, what I’m used to.
Today I went, same thing, did not have the same taste and texture. I ask the cashier for a remake, stating the noodles tasted overcooked. She takes the bag to the chef and I overhear them (loudly) saying the noodles are not overcooked and that this is how they normally are. The cashier (the lady who answers the phone and usually wears a hat with a ponytail) also proceeds to say “she does this all of the time,” (I’ve asked for a remake once). The chef says back “if she does this again, you come get me.” I thought to pull out a photo of the noodles I’ve gotten in the past to show the difference but I was blown away by the unprofessionalism especially since I asked nicely.
My noodles normally look like the photo attached but the last two times my meal didn’t have as much “sauce/flavoring/color” and the noodles have been very soft when they normally aren’t. I’m not sure if this relates to them making the noodles in bulk during rush hours.
I spoke with the other cashier Chailendra to ask for a refund, she was very nice and processed my refund while they talked about me in the kitchen.
This was my favorite place to come for good Thai, hopefully the customer service improves. The “us versus the customer,” mentality drives business away no matter how good...
Read moreCrushcraft Thai Eats truly impressed us with the bold and authentic flavors of their dishes. If you’re in the mood for Thai cuisine, this place is a must-visit.
We ordered the Skinny B Salad, Khao Soi, and Fried Rice. Each dish was not only visually appealing but also packed with rich flavors that made every bite enjoyable.
Skinny B Salad: This salad was a delightful mix of fresh ingredients and a variety of textures. The combination of colorful vegetables, cashews, and a tangy dressing made it a refreshing and satisfying choice.
Khao Soi: The Khao Soi was a standout, with its creamy and aromatic coconut curry broth. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the addition of crispy noodles on top added a nice crunch. This dish was rich, flavorful, and comforting.
Fried Rice: The Fried Rice was perfectly seasoned and cooked with just the right amount of spice. The egg on top added a nice touch, making it a hearty and delicious meal.
Overall, Crushcraft Thai Eats provided an exceptional dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was casual and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you’re a fan...
Read moreHave been to Crushcraft many times over the years. My experience yesterday was disappointing. Went with my wife and two small kids for an early dinner. Ordered our food. The lady taking orders (seemed like a manager), wasn’t friendly from the start. We received two spoons for our meal, which included rice for two small kids (4 and 11 months), a rice bowl for me and a soup. Two spoons obviously isn’t enough. Anyways, continued with the meals and one spoon broke in half because they’re so flimsy. We went up to ask for another spoon and the lady responded with “we already gave you two”. Told her that we need another because one spoon broke and we have two small kids. She reluctantly gave me another.
Crushcraft owners, in what world do you think we collect and hoard spoons? Why do you have no regard for a family with small kids who need spoons to eat? With so much competition, why would you not at least be a little friendlier? You’re being cheap and inconveniencing your loyal customers who have small children. Do better. If you’re unable to cater to families then say that and take away the high chairs...
