Review for Best Buy - Holiday Experience
I visited Best Buy on Christmas Eve, and I have to admit, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. Like many last-minute shoppers, I was dreading the holiday crowd and hoping I could find something special for my son, who has autism. It was a stressful day, and I wasn’t sure where to start.
However, my entire experience turned around the moment I was approached by a young man named Milton. He greeted me with a warm smile and asked if I needed help. I took a deep breath and explained what I was looking for: something to entertain and engage my son. As we spoke, Milton shared with me that he had a brother with autism too. He told me how he had bought his brother an iPad and taught him to use it. His brother now loves making music on it, and the iPad has been a wonderful tool for his brother’s learning and development.
Hearing Milton’s story was like a weight being lifted off my shoulders. It was clear that he understood the challenges I face, and he took the time to listen. I could tell that he genuinely cared, and his advice was exactly what I needed. Thanks to him, I found the perfect gift for my son—a tool that is both fun and educational.
Milton’s kindness and professionalism stood out to me. He didn’t rush me or brush me off. Instead, he walked me through all my options and made sure I felt confident in my decision. The store itself was clean, and everyone I encountered was friendly and full of holiday cheer, even though I’m sure they all would rather have been home with their families.
My son absolutely loves his new iPad, and he’s already starting to learn the piano on it, which is a huge blessing. It’s not just a toy for him—it’s a tool that’s helping him grow. I’m so thankful to Milton for his help and for making my holiday shopping experience so much better. His kindness made all the difference.

Read moreIdk who the GM of this store is, but they should be disappointed with their store. They have plenty of employees but they don't seem to take care of stock and inventory very well. Not sure if this is current BBY culture or just this stores lack of. I worked for BBY for 7 years and never have I ever seen this lack of direction at a BBY location. I went in for 2 things. One was a add-on security cam for an existing system. Being patient since there's a shortage of electrons, I been checking in regularly. They finally had the camera but no price tag. There was 2 spots for them, the aisle and an endcap. Either spot had the price. They have price tags for items currently out of stock. But not for items IN Stock? When you stock a shelf, your employees are supposed to put them in their place where the planogram says. And a shelf tag with the price should be present. It's pretty simple concept....think you need to train better. Lucky we have the BBY App and scanned the item for the price. The second in item was a UPS Battery Backup. Looking at what was in stock I was comparing price vs. specs. I found 2 units of one brand side by side. The lower end model (call it X) had a tag in front of it which said $44.99 and the higher end (call it Z) had a tag in for t of it which was a sale price of $44.99 / regular price $54.99. Well this is a no brainer that model Z for the same price as X is the better deal. At checkout the price was WAY higher....like around $90. So the unit Z was in the wrong place. Which happens when customers browse and is fairly understandable if a customer put it back in the wrong place. However, the sad part is the sale tag that said $44.99 sale price and $54.99 reg price, was for the same model as the standard tag next to it that said $44.99. So makes you wonder is the model X normally $54.99 or normally $44.99? Makes me think when items are on 'SALE', it's not a sale and they just jacked up the price a week before to 'make it a sale price' the current week. Something shady going on at Best...
Read moreI went o the Davie location and recently purchased a stove. The sales associate was cordial and assisted me to get the stove I needed, more importantly he guaranteed the stove would be delivered by Thursday June 17 2021. This was crucial for me since I explained I was traveling on the 19 th leaving at home a special needs child that requires food to be prepared at home (he was staying home with grandma). Delivery day arrived and a window time was given from 10 to 5 pm. I was not instructed at moment of purchase that delivery guy WILL NOT knock on the door. But call from outside the house and if I didn’t answered the phone he would leave . This is Exactly what happened. I work from 9 to5. But I took the precaution of leaving mom at home to receive the stove. The guy never knock on the door... he called to my cel phone but since I was working I missed the call. We waited until 6 pm and tried to call customer service, I just got the machine saying to call during business hours. Following day I went to the DAVIE location I made the purchase, hoping ll get a solution from the manager. Mr Reginald Walker was at the front door and with complete sarcasm told me that if I was expecting a delivery the logical thing to do was answering my phone !!!!! This was a total Insult and disrespect to a customer. No sympathy was shown until I mentioned I will wright this review ... after all the aggravation he and said it will be delivered next week by Tuesday !!!!! And he said when it gets delivered to go to the store for a “little something “. I was beyond furious at this point !!!! And told him that te aggravation and the worry I will have leaving my family like that plus with such a short time to find a portable stove ... there is not little something that will cover that.
