Hated it! Over priced, rude staff, disgusting food prices and food. They are not worth the hype! You MUST get your parking pass validated and then you'll receive a discount. However, no one tells you about the discount because the theater owns the parking garage. The garage is very narrow, if you don't have a compact car you'll end up on the roof top like we did with my husband's Jeep Wrangler. The elevators were broken the day we visited and the theater wouldn't give us anything to compensate us for the 5-flight walk. The theater informed us that if we had an issue with walking down 5-flights of stairs we should have valet parked. We arrived 30 minutes early just as suggested on their website and we were NOT allowed to order a drink or an appetizer while we waited. We were informed we are prohibited from taking THEIR food into the movie theater. If we did order the food, we would have to throw our food and drinks away before we enter the theater. I'm also pretty sure that this is the only theater in Palm Beach that has this rule. The rest rooms are up stairs and the inside elevator was out of order as well. Both rest rooms share a sink wash area. Therefore, you can walk into the restroom through the men or women's enterances. Every restroom wall had a hand written sticker stating to "hold the toilet for 5 seconds" while flushing. I followed the instructions to flush the toilet and just as I anticipated, the toilet did not flush! The decor was modern and comfortable. The engineer did a horrible job with the design and layout with the privacy partition. They did not account for the recline view or seat comfort whatsoever. The theater should notate a "warning" on their website. The head cushion (although it looks comfortable) doesn't function properly while reclined. The middle arm rest for the "couples" seating doesn't lift up so you can cuddle. If you choose to make yourself suffer at this ipic theater, it's best to select a top center seat. Food orders are taken from the top of the theater to the bottom. It took 30- minutes for them to bring our drinks. Then another 40-minutes to bring our food. Immediately as I received my dinner, I asked for a refill. I was instructed to turned my light on and the server came 15-minutes later. It took my server another 15-minutes to bring me my free refill. In all it took over 1 hour to serve our meal, with 1-beverage and 1- refill! I spent $100 for four adults privacy seating tickets. $160 for four adults dinners and beverages. Which leads me to state another inconvenience you can not order your refill in two separate cups or they'll charge you for two beverages! The server informed me that he could give me free refills as long as the refills came in the same cup. I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU DO NOT VISIT THIS MOVIE THEATER. IT WAS AN UNPLEASANT EXPENSE EXPERIENCE, WE WEREN'T GREETED OR TREATED LIKE SOMEONE PAYING $300 FOR A GREAT DATE NIGHT. THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST THEATER EXPERIENCES I'VE ENDURED. I do not believe that I would ever like to attend the Delay location again. Unless they charged their rules or have new free tickets. I'd much rather prefer to drive to the Boca theater and that's another review.

Since iPic was introduced to me when it opened in Mizner Park, I turned snobby on my movie theaters. I’m not a snobby person, just saying iPic changed the way I go to movies today. Word first broke about an iPic coming to Delray five years ago and this place just finally opened this month. My excitement for this place was pretty high, because Mizner was a whole new introduction to this little mini lux feeling; while viewing a movie. My inner child wanted to see this place, tried to do brunch but the restaurant is still in the works for the building. So it’s only the food that the theatre offers which is substantial. I went to the first showing on a Monday morning. In my younger years, my friends and I always would go first showing on Friday mornings. I find it fun somedays to first thing see a movie then have the whole day and night. This particular morning, seats were booked but I ended up being the only person there. I loved it. I stuck with the seat I originally picked. I believe it was Sean or Jon that took care of me, the ninja server was on point. Helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. Granted it was only 10am I ordered a Jack rocks and got some warm cheddar cheese biscuits with maldon sea salt & served with maple butter. Ate it all up and would get again. The bucket seats were cool but I felt they’re smaller than what I am used to at the Mizner location. I like that the recliner buttons are moved to a higher location, as my leg in Mizner sometimes would move my seat. The center table is larger, swivels and has the server call button. They also don’t leave out the blankets currently, but available upon request. The blanket is softer material and more silky than the ones in Boca as well. Ipic in Delray is still in it the works, I am giving it full rank because I know it’s potential, I like the style it brings, decor and service. Looking forward to what restaurant they bring. Presently bathrooms are on a separate floor from the movies. That will sting a lot of you but I feel it’s a minor issue to whine about when I’m sure in time they will resolve it.

We go to IPIC every once in a while but have never had a poor experience until now. We saw Twisters on 8/3 at 6:45 in seats B3/B4. Sat down at around 6:50pm (ads were still playing and lights were still on) and immediately pushed the service button. We didn’t get a server for maybe 15 minutes but it was busy so we get it. We placed our order for 2 drinks, 1 app, and some cookies; a small order. We waited and waited and didn’t get our drinks for almost 30 minutes. It’s a Saturday, it’s busy, and we are not the type to complain unless it’s unreasonably slow. At this point we still don’t have our food. The movie started at around 7pm and at ~8:05pm, our server came up to us asking if we needed anything else before she closed our tab. Yes…our food. We were not going to pay until we got our food. She came back twice apologizing saying they lost our ticket twice and each time we were very cordial. She finally brought our food at 8:15pm and at this point the movie is almost half over. She placed it down and said “The app is on us. We are so sorry.” She took our card for payment without giving us the itemized bill (odd, but that’s fine). We finally got the bill to sign and noticed that nothing was actually taken off the bill and we were still charged $8.99 for service fee. What service??? We know it may not have been her fault but if I’m getting charged 100% of the bill for extremely poor service AND a service charge, I expect…service, let alone great service. The food was really good as always! No complaints there. The seats were stickier than ever but perhaps we got unlucky. Overall just really disappointed in the service considering how reasonable we were with our server and all the issues.

I came here to see scream with my daughter and boy did we regret that quickly!

Drinks We sat at the bar and I ordered an ipic margarita 🤢 it was the most horrendous margarita I’ve ever tasted in my life! This margarita was so bad it made my eyes tear and my nose burn! I couldn’t even get half way through it. The whole drink was still there.

Apps We ordered the caprese skewers and instead I was charged for tandoori chicken skewers which I brought to their attention and they STILL charged me for the wrong item! The caprese skewers were so so and a pretty basic app. We also ordered the Maryland crab cakes which were actually phenomenal and amazingly cooked to perfection and very tasteful!

I ended up paying for an app I didn’t order which was an extra $6. I gave a $5 tip on top of my $6 they owe me!

We proceeded to go into our theater and the wait time wasn’t too bad for service there.

The waitress was very nice at first. She took our order and we ordered the following:

Small popcorn 🍿 ✅ Raisinets ✅ Warm pretzel 🥨 with honey mustard and cheese ✅ Lemon pepper wings (could have been cooked a bit longer) sauces were great ✅ -

After that we ordered

The warm brownies ✅ Coffee (black) ✅

I went to hand the waitress my card she stated oh we have it in there already and charged it I’m like okay great. She comes back about 45 min later says it was declined. I was caught off guard at first but offered to pay cash. The waitress stated they don’t accept any cash at all which I found odd. She waited there till I stepped out to use my phone as I did not have service there and the wifi was not working. I practically missed the whole ending to the movie. My phone died and I couldn’t approve the purchase from my card. I asked the two ladies at the bar if I could pay cash they said yes and that they can ring me up at the bar register bc they have cash. Then all of a sudden the waitress comes out and says she can take it but has no money or change to change it out…. Ummmm ok. Nice! so she basically gave herself a tip.

Overall you walk in and it was a dead zone. The manager looked busy without actually being busy. He was stressed every time someone asked him a question and paying attention to other things besides his staff and guests. The two young ladies at the bar were awful. They didn’t listen to what you wanted and both seemed to not know much about making a drink.

How can you mess up on a margarita?!

We might as well have served ourselves. We paid ridiculous money for absolutely horrible service.

This places management needs to be seriously evaluated and the staff definitely needs some customer service training.

I would have preferred going to a regular movie theater or the ipic in boca.

Never, never, never come here if you’re looking to have...

I went to the soft opening today after talking about it for years I finally heard it was having a soft opening this week so I jumped at the chance to be the first to check it out and I am regretting my decision. I completely understand soft opening but I also believe in people knowing how to perform basic tasks and that was not evident today. It started out good with a very friendly valet and even though confusing to find the ticket counter the girl was very friendly she told us the general area the theater was and said someone would show us to are seats even though that didn’t happen. The bathroom is upstairs which I found very strange because the theaters are downstairs so I had to go upstairs and try to navigate where the bathroom was because there was no signs. I made my way back to my seat when a girl came over said she wasn’t our waiter but would take our drink order which she did then about 15 min later after movie started our waiter finally came over. I asked for the spring rolls and he said they were out it was the first showing so I found it odd but it’s soft opening so I let it slide and me and my friend ordered the sliders and the sweet potato fries we ordered them at 4pm at 5pm the food was still not out and I was giving them slack because it was soft opening at around 515 our wait asks if we want anything else and I said well we have not even gotten our food yet so can we get our food please and he leaves yet again and then comes back 15 minutes before the movie is over so about two hours after we ordered our food asking if we want to place any more orders because this was last call for food before movie ends. I told him we never received our food and he just looks at me and says do you want me to just take that off your bill Umm yeah I want you to take it off the bill because we never even got it. Send then when the movie was over I asked to speak to a manager after 10 min a girl comes over and just looks at me nods her head doesn’t apologize doesn’t do anything to remedy the situation just look at me and nods and says nothing. I was so annoyed at that point I couldn’t wait to leave. We went out for a movie and a meal not movie and stale popcorn with bad service and it was all common sense normal customer service skills that people should be born with it wasn’t rocket science. I was one of the first customers at IPIC in Boca and the service was great then and is still great now I don’t know if I will ever go back to the one in Delray after our experience today there are no excuses for not getting our food when we informed our waiter more...
