I never ever post bad reviews when I have a bad experience regarding service at an establishment, specially in the food industry cause i understand mistakes happen and everyone can have a bad day. But making it a habit is not ok… So here I am today to express my dissatisfaction with today’s visit’s to Gelato. I have been to this place in 3 opportunities, being the last 2 times not very pleasant visits. The gelato is really good and they have great flavors. The problem with this place is the horrible customer service of the employees behind the counter. The second time I was there, the male employee that I approached to ask if they had a certain flavor answered rudely “what you see through the glass is what we have”. The girl next to him had the same attitude. Today (my 3rd and last visit) the same girl took our orders and had an even worse attitude than the last time, no hello, not a word to me, and showed a clear disgust on her face for having to help us, horrible hand mannerisms that made me feel rushed to order (I did all the order for my family) and rolled her eyes when I didn’t leave a tip (which she clearly didn’t earn). I stopped by Gelato & Co. for a little treat and was genuinely impressed. I ordered the pistachio gelato and an espresso—classic choices, and both delivered beautifully. The pistachio gelato was incredibly creamy, with a rich, nutty flavor that tasted like real pistachios, not the artificial kind you sometimes find. It was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, with a smooth texture that made every bite feel indulgent.

The espresso was bold and aromatic, the perfect companion to the gelato. Served hot and fresh, it had a deep, robust flavor that cut nicely through the richness of the gelato.

The shop itself has a clean, welcoming vibe and the staff were friendly and efficient. The only reason for the half-star deduction is that it was a bit busy when I went, so the line took a few minutes—but honestly, it was well worth the wait. I’ll definitely be back to try...

I try my best not to leave disparaging reviews but I can’t understand this place and I feel like people with tastebuds and standards need to be warned not to waste their money here. This is not gelato, period. It’s not even edible. I literally walked out of the shop took 2 bites of my "gelato" and threw it out in the garbage on 4th. My husband had a "cannoli" and the cream inside was hard as a rock. I’ve had plenty of imitations of both gelato and cannoli, and have still enjoyed them but what we had here was not that. It was awful by any definition, without even mentioning authenticity. This is a place for tourists to mindlessly and (probably) drunkenly consume post-dinner treats on their stroll back to their hotel, and then remember it so fondly in the morning that they leave it a 5 star review.
