Talked myself into visiting Breckinridge as a first time skier. Last time I had gone skiing was when I was maybe 10 (and also not from the area). I rented some equipment and had asked for some help finding other equipment I couldn’t rent. The guys I talked to here were extremely friendly and helpful. The name ā€œRandallā€ was on my receipt, so I hope that’s the person who helped me with my ski rentals so I can shout him out properly. He was very patient with me and knew I was just winging this experience, but wanted me to be as prepared as possible so I didn’t have a miserable time. He made sure my rented equipment fit perfectly and gave me some starter tips to help me pick up skiing a little faster (I ice skate, so I think I had a little head start here). He also mentioned some other items I’d need so I wouldn’t be uncomfortable.. like goggles, gloves, socks, and balaclava. I really appreciated the time he took to make sure I was good to go. I know that this was just a simple ski rental experience, but It was really cool how personalized and not rushed it was. It made me feel more confident in going skiing by myself. Also I was panicking to return my rentals because there was a huge snowstorm and I was just going to pay for another day, but they were super nice and mentioned there’s some leeway with the returns. I would 10/10 come back here for rentals in the future, I think this was some top tier customer service.. thank you so much!

Visited Epic in Littleton for a ski mount and a boot fitting. This location has exceeded my expectations. John at the service counter turned a simple binding mount into a full-on backcountry tutorial, breaking down how the tour bindings work and sharing tips for uphill recommendations. Bill’s boot fitting? Next-level. It’s clear he’s worked with every type of foot imaginable (including my low volume bunioned ones). While Evo Broadway might take multiple sessions, Bill nailed my perfect fit in one go. And Eric? He made sure that an out of stock item would be in my hands before my next visit up to the slopes, will remember your name and treat you like an individual. Julie at the front checkout is sweet as pie! Don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else for ski related stuff! Found a good team that has treated me well. āļø10/5āļø! šŸŽæā„ļø

To lay some background, I’m an avid backcountry skier and mountaineers-man. I recently went to get my skis waxed and sharpened, which I have always done myself. Though for times sake I just thought I’d bring them in somewhere. All I asked for was a regular wax and sharpen job thinking they’d pull out a hot iron and start dripping some hot WAX. Then pull out a file and really sharpen them edges up. NOPE! Instead they claim that they were in fact put on a machine and what looks like machine sanded the existing wax. No minor scratches filled, nothing. Also they claimed they sharpened the edges even though there was RUST still on the edges?!?!? I should never have taken my BD Carbon Converts here. C Ski and Golf has LOST A COSTUMER and I hope no one uses there services again!

I’m just overall a bit frustrated with my experience at Epic. The only reason I bought my boots here was because I was told that they come with a ton of expertise and will do free adjustments. Every time I go in they seem overwhelmed, understaffed, and inconsistent. I went in with little to no experience of what I wanted even though I was an intermediate skier, it was the first time I’d ever bought boots. They sold me some k2s. I went back once last season because of some major calf cramping and they sold me inserts. Basically they always seemed a bit confused why I bought THIS boot, because it isn’t a good fit, but told me I needed to break them in or make small adjustments to the insert. This season I’m still experiencing the same issue. I went back and they again seem to be unsure why I was sold these boots and I spent over an hour trying to get the boots I was sold to fit properly. 1hr 45 min into this whole ordeal, some other salesman comes out of left field saying I was sold the wrong boots and then tried to sell me new boots. The person I’d been working with for 1hr 45 min starts working with someone else and it really made me feel like I’d been labeled as some kind of problem customer. I’m extremely polite and while I also felt I’d been there forever, I thought we were almost done. Now I had to start over with someone new. They tried to put me into new boots and I was really just over the whole thing and completely overwhelmed. Ultimately I made it seem like they fit fine now, thanked them, and left. It’s really frustrating that they made me feel like I was the problem when every sales person starts out by saying they for sure sold me the wrong boot in the first place. Then to have a different person hijack the appointment when we were almost done was also pretty frustrating. Now I have boots that still don’t fit, and completely wasted 2.5 hours of...

Horrible service. Yesterday, September 8, 2016 at 12:00pm, I dropped my skis off to get a Ski boot binding adjustment, and another thing that they offered was a free edge and wax, since I got a boot fit misfit last year in Atomic Hawx 2.0 flex 90 and had to warranty my boots for Full Tilt Drop Kicks this year. Alejandro called yesterday at 5:00pm, and told me they were ready. I would come in tomorrow September 9, 2016 to pick them up. Today, September 9, 2016 at 12:15pm, I went in to pick up my skis and it took 15 minutes to find my skis. How hard is it to find skis? Do you guys not have an organized system? I for got his name, but an older gentleman with a piercing in his left ear, grabbed the wrong boot. He grabbed some other guys boot and assumed it was mine. I told him that was not my boot, and it was Full Tilt Drop kick. It took another 15 minutes to find my boot. So, I looked at skis and they had oil all over my skis and wax all over the edges. They didnt even mention to look at my skis and fix them before you hand them to a customer. I take great pride in the stuff I bought, which was well over $1000. To see that your employees dont take care of customers skis. is just irresponsible and dont care about customers property.

I talked to a manager to see if i could get my money back that i paid for. And a girl and a gentleman just told me that they fixed the problem. I didnt care if they fixed it. they should have looked at the skis beofre even handing to a customer. So they were rude back to me and didnt even give me money back. Horrible managment. Horrible service. Horrible knowledge.

Hire people with knowledge and get employees to take care of customers's property. Maybe worry about customer satisfaction, than trying to get sales. I pay good money to have my skis to be taken great care of, not...

I had a terrible experience yesterday. I went in yesterday evening to rent snowboard boots and a helmet and I was in there for over an hour. I was going to try to schedule rental pickup online, ahead of time, but there was not an option to rent just a helmet and boots. There was plenty of staff working and very little people in the store when we walked in. We tried to get someone’s attention at the rental area for several minutes before someone came to help us. The sign in kiosk was down and whatever online service they use to check out gear also seemed to be down. We then waited in line to actually get sized for boots for another 20-30minutes. Workers kept walking back and forth from the computers to the back rooms without ever checking in on us, if we needed help, or anything if the sort. It seemed like we were clearly being ignored. Again, I had to be the one to ask several different people for help, and when they said they could help, they would walk away to check or fix something, but would not keep us updated with anything that was happening. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience, and I will not be renting again. I did ask about some sort of discount for a lack and disrespect of service to a manager, and I was unfortunately not given any discount or coupon to even try to incentivize coming back. The manager on duty last night was the only person who apologized for the inconvenience. Nothing is making me want to come back to that shop. I am very disappointed in the costumer service as well as the...
