I have been going to Fingers and Toes consistently for regular manis and pedis since fall of last year. I LOVE my tech Roxanne. She always does an amazing job and goes out of her way to ensure the service she provides is exceptional and worth the price point. I have actually referred a handful of family and friends to her that now bring their business here. Prior to regularly seeing Roxanne, I've also had other techs in the salon do my nails and I can say everyone here is wonderful and professional!
The reason I'm rating this lower is because I've been in 3 times this spring and summer since the temps started rising and the air conditioner has been broken every single time. At this point it's been broken for 2 months and doesn't sound like it's going to be fixed anytime soon. Ultimately, this does not lend to a boutique like experience, rather a very uncomfortable, hot, and muggy one. If I am paying the price I do for regular manis and pedis, I do expect to be somewhat comfortable during them. I'd also like to point out that it's not a safe working environment for the techs or the front desk receptionist, who are literally sweating buckets while checking people in and doing nails.
Please consider fixing the items in the salon that need to be fixed in order for clients to have an enjoyable/relaxing experience and a safe working environment...
Read moreMy daughter planned a great day for my Birthday starting out with pedicures at Fingers and Toes. We felt rushed the whole time, not the relaxing treat she had highly expected for our day. At one time I was asked to move to a chair away from the tub area in order for the tech to paint my nails because another appointment was there. I accommodated her request and moved only to be asked to move a second time - I wanted a french pedicure and was told she didn't have time for that - so had to change my color to a solid which she slapped on very quickly - while looking to see who her next appointment was. My daughter left bleeding because the tech she had scrubbed her too hard - our next stop was for a band-aid at Target! I felt so bad...not only did she drop $70 for bad pedicures, but had to get first aid to top off our visit. Would never recommend going here! - after 4 years being in business, makes me wonder how and how long will...
Read moreI can't speak to the reviews that are a few years old. However, I have been going to Fingers & Toes for several years now and will continue to be a really loyal client. No one is perfect and, yes, I've gotten a couple shellacs that weren't perfect. I also dropped in and they were fixed promptly. Usually they last up to three weeks. I do know that they have had to institute a policy that if you are late, not all services can be performed because -- GUESS WHAT? -- you were late, and they need to keep other people on schedule. Seems fair to me. So if you change your mind from a regular polish to a french manicure, it takes extra time. But my experience has been great. So they do have a schedule, and you should respect it. If you want to lounge around, get a glass of wine and hang out. The atmosphere is great, the staff will remember you and take...
