This may be the first time I have ever accidentally ordered from a place (simply thought the other place changed their name) and didn't realize the mistake until the directions on my way to pick up took me a different place. Well, after initial disappointment at the mistake and a "we'll see how this goes" realization... I was pleasantly surprised how fantastic it was! This turned into a happy accident as I think it was better than the place I originally intended! The samosas and accompanied sauces were excellent. And the chicken in the chicken masala was great! I'm not sure if I have ever actually said that about chicken in chicken masala because often we just settle for massive rubbery chunks knowing the sauce is what will make up for it. You all know what I am referring to here! But here the chicken paired great with the masala sauce and, yes, the chunks were not massive bricks but actually bite-sized. We also enjoyed the saag paneer where the spinach used may have actually been fresh rather than typical frozen because it, too, actually had noticeable flavor and texture not often found in most take out spots. The one recco is this place needs some lighting in the front to help it stand out and not get so easily lost in the dark at night. But highly recommend and look forward...

Fishtail cuisine is one of the most hospitable restaurants I’ve been to in Denver. They are so kind and they were so welcoming the first time I walked in their doors. I was greeted with a complimentary soup while I waited for my takeout. It was such a nice detail and gesture, as it can help to aid digestion. I really appreciated the thoughtfulness.

When I got home, I was BLOWN AWAY as to how good my food was. This was the best Indian food I’ve had since I left Hicksville, NY and IYKYK! 😍 I am so so grateful that this is a new neighborhood spot for me.

The samosa chat is unreaaaaal and their mataar paneer was creamy and delicious, peas and cheese were so fresh. The naan was such a great lil snack, highly recommend with the raita, which is such a refreshing sauce that they do so well.

My order was packaged neatly, and so it was nice and hot when I got home. Thank you so much for your hospitality! I love this little spot so...

The Chicken Tikka Masala was very bland, very watered down. Momos had a highly processed taste and texture, seemed like the type that are mass produced and pre-frozen. The momo sauce that starts with a J was good. Garlic naan was good, samosa’s were fine. The veggie Kofta was solid. Service was nice, establishment was clean. I don’t understand why the place has such high reviews, food quality overall was mediocre. Very pricy given the quality, not worth the money when there are so many excellent Indian palaces round.

I guess it’s a great place if you have dietary restrictions or if you like ultra-Americanized food. Mind you, I don’t even mind Americanized India. But my party and I all agreed, this was extra bland. I’ll give it one more try, maybe it was an off day. If it is better I will update or remove this review. If it was about the same then this review just...

The vegetable samosas had a flaky, airy crust, which I've found to be rare -- but highly desirable. The tamarind and mint sauces were full of flavor, as well. The masala chai was more savory than sweet, which was welcome, because it had a strong cinnamon profile. The vegetable korma included broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, potatoes, and green peas. Each of the ingredients played well with the curry, and the medium spice level was *perfect*. The naan was garlicky and flavorful, but it was a little stiffer and board-like than I'm used to. The paneer masala was very tomatoey, as well. The malai kofta was also tasty. Rice pudding is not usually my kind of dessert; however, this version was full of milky deliciousness. Also, the servers were highly engaging and attentive to our party -- refilling waters, etc.

I honestly don’t understand why this place isn’t busy on a Saturday night. We came here for a visit and our Airbnb is close by. My husband and I are big Indian food lovers so we decided to order pickup from here. We went into a huge empty place with the most friendly server. She even helped the uber driver carry the food out to put in his car!! We got our food, ordered the mango yogurt drink, and they gave us a lovely rice pudding on the house. All food was very well packaged and still hot when we opened them. Garlic naan, butter chicken, lentil soup and saag paneer are all delicious. The entire time when we were eating we were saying what a shame this place isn’t loved and appreciated by more people. If you’re in Denver downtown area and you like Indian food, please give it a try!!!
