I have had mixed feelings about dog parks but Railyard dogs and owners have been great. Everyone minds their own dogs, keeps it clean, and it’s never very crowded. There is also a separate space that is mostly unused so it’s likely that your dog can have an isolated space to play if needed. Georgia goes HARD so she always cuts up her paw pads on the gravel but 99% of the dogs have no issues and some wear paw covers. As we go more often she has gotten used to the gravel and shows restraint + her paw pads have toughened up! In summary, it’s a great option for LoHi residents to walk or anyone downtown!

My only grip is about a couple dog owners who would just stand there looking dumb as their dogs would either be trying to hump, or getting to aggressive with other dogs playing around them. I personally saw 3 dog owners leave because of this. However, I will certainly be back to this park as I hope this was just a one time incident. .

They really need to replace the benches here. My dogs paw got stuck in one today and it was truly a terrifying experience. Even with the help of two other people we could not get her paw out. A by stander was able to run home an get vegetable oil and we were able to get her paw out with the oil. But these benches created a very dangerous situation - my dog was hurt and so was I trying to help her. Please switch out these benches a dog is going to get very hurt.

Great little dog park in the heart of the city! It’s not the biggest space, but it’s super convenient and usually has a good crowd of friendly dogs. I like that there’s a separate area for calmer pups, and the sand/dirt surface is easy on their paws. It can get a bit dusty and there’s not a ton of shade, so bring water and maybe a towel for the ride home. Overall, a solid spot for a quick off-leash run and some social time...
