We LOVED our Kasa stay in Denver and will definitely look into Kasa accommodations for future vacations. Having our own entire apartment was so much better than a single hotel room, and it actually cost LESS than most of the nicer hotels in Denver. The entire 4th floor of this newer apartment building was just for Kasa guests, which was kind of cool. The unit was lovely with clean & stylish decor, comfy bed & pillows, a cute little balcony, an in-unit washer & dryer, and plenty of space to stretch out. We were able to have Denver friends over for drinks & games, so it felt more like a home away from home. The location was wonderful - easy access on & off I-25 for day trips, right across from the park for walks along the river, and walking distance to Union Station and many great restaurants. King Soopers & Whole Foods are also within walking distance for stocking up the kitchen. The amenities at this apartment complex were also terrific - excellent fitness facility, rooftop deck overlooking the park with fire pit & BBQ grills & seating, outdoor pool (not open for our stay), game room/lounge, and more. Free parking in the secure garage was also much appreciated. The check-in process was a bit complex, but we figured it out just fine. It would have been great to have some kind of in-person interaction with Kasa staff, but their customer support via text & phone was super helpful for dealing with a Wifi/TV connection issue.

Let me clarify: their apartments are not the issue; they are actually quite good. The real problem lies with their service, which is seriously lacking. After a year of consistent, problem-free bookings, I encountered a significant issue with my last reservation to Denver. Just as I was about to board my flight, I received an email notifying me that my reservation had been canceled. That’s when the chaos began. Despite not requesting a refund, they insisted that I had asked for one. I sent more than ten emails to explain the situation, but to no avail. I contacted my bank and credit card company, only to find out that my card had blocked the payment, labeling it as a suspicious charge. I made every effort to resolve the issue and proceed with the payment, but they decided to issue a refund without my consent, which also led to the cancellation of all my future reservations. The core issue is their failure to accurately manage my reservation. They claimed it was linked to a prior reservation in Charlotte, but if that were true, why didn’t they notice it when I booked my flight to Chicago? Their mismanagement created a situation that I still can’t comprehend. Be warned: if they choose to cancel your reservation, you could find yourself stranded in the street . I experienced this firsthand when, at the point of boarding, they canceled my booking, forcing me to scramble for a hotel to avoid being left out in the cold.

Check-in and out was flawless (shout out to Mara). The location couldn't be beat! The building couldn't be safer! I have never felt that safe before on a trip! It completely boggles my mind why other companies don't use the security features Kasa uses. The communication was immediate and receptive to our needs. We had delayed flights and were going to miss the last train from the airport, and it was going to be after midnight. I texted the Team to ask if they had suggestions on transportation and they were right on the money with a response within minutes! They saved us the worry about getting to the Kasa in the middle of the night in a city we'd never been (shout out to Jessy). NO other hotel/motel/resort has ever been that helpful! They went above and beyond to rectify issues and cared about what we had to say without making us feel wrong for sharing our concerns. The cleanliness at the beginning could have been avoided, but they immediately checked up on us through email and text which was incredibly courteous (shout out to Alfred, Evelyn and Rose). We probably contacted them a half dozen times while there and they responded in minutes. No haggling or endless sales emails/texts. We will DEFINITELY be staying at another Kasa at our next destination. I do wish though; they had more accommodations to choose from and that all destinations were listed on a single map with pins in the U.S.

I think 5 is a fair score based on price, location, customer service and overall experience. We stayed for 10 days in December. Check in instructions are sent via email but also main codes etc by text message if you don't have data (like me, travelling from abroad!). But def make sure you have access to wifi to check the instructions beforehand (they send check in instructions reminder 24 hours before check in, then the entry codes 30 mins before).

Amenities: Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. Plenty of toilet roll, tissue boxes. Plenty of spare towels. Plenty of bin bags. Spare blankets (but only one per room, this was fine for me as I was alone but might be a tug of war if two in the bed as it is a super king, and blanket was probably only king). Hand wash in bathrooms, kitchen. Dish soap. Dishwasher tablets. Laundry tablets. Tea (not 'proper ' tea! herbal), coffee, sweetener, half & half pots. Coffee machine in hallway that provides coffee, iced coffee, hot choc, chai latte.

Customer service (via email): I asked for more dish soap and this was provided the next day. I also realised the conditioner bottle was actually shampoo which was a bit weird but asked for this to be replaced - again done the next day.

Pros: Secure parking, building feels secure too. Neighbourhood felt safe. Very close to Ball Arena (15 min walk). Spacious rooms and massive beds. All basic provisions and smart TV Good heat control. Good wifi. Couldn't really hear neighbours (except for see below). Dogs! It is a very dog-friendly building so you'll probably make a few friends in the lift!

Cons (being extremely picky): You are right near the railway so you will hear the trains and also for us occasional loud bangs. But nothing too intrusive and not a problem overall. There were a couple of nights where the people above were thumping about - but this is not unique to this property! I always bring ear plugs and have my white noise ready so able to block it out. Why only one tea towel? Most places do this and I don't know why! It would be good to have an anti-slip mat for the showers. It would be good to have anti-bac surface cleaner in the kitchen. Rooms were a little bare - with bedside tables and bed - maybe chest of drawers would be nice? Although closets are very big. Also whilst big TV in living room, there was a smaller TV only in one bedroom (not a problem for me but could be for others!).

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and I would look at staying here, or another Kasa property...

On September 16th,2021 we attempted to check in to KASA Denver Union Station. We were there to attend a funeral. After reading the check in instruction we attempted in vain to get in. It would not recognize my phone number. We tried with the code. We called Kasa and finally after someone answered, he said that maybe it did not recognize my phone because I did not add a 1 prior to the area code. Also the code used an "I" rather than a 1 (one) or the other way around. Frankly, for a platform that relies so heavily on technology, KASA should have worked out the technological kinks a long time ago and instructed people to place a 1 before the phone number and definitely not use confusing numerals/alphabet letters.

We finally got into the apartment 35 minutes later and a cleaning lady was shampooing the carpet (at 3:20 pm, which was well AFTER check in time. The carpet was soaking wet. So wet we could not walk without placing towels all around the apartment. We called KASA again, someone after 23 minutes said we could move apartments, but we had to leave to attend the funeral.

By the time, we got back, the carpet was just damp and we were tired and did not feel like moving apartments, so we never changed apartments, which again, being that KASA is a platform that relies so heavily on technology, KASA should have figured it out that we never checked in to the other apartment.

Which brings us to the next day, because we were locked out of our apartment for 45 minutes after having attended the second part of the funeral/memorial and being exhausted.

We called yet again, and after speaking with a team member who reads off of a script saying she was "really sorry for our inconveniences" , whereas all we needed was to get in to our apartment, she hung up. We called gain, and finally after a long day of grieving and 45 minutes of being locked out, she issued new cards.

We were not able to access our apartment for 103 combined minutes out of a less than 48 hour stay. It does not seem like yKASA cares about customers, despite the platitudes...

Leaving 1 star because I can't leave 0. They ruined the last day of our vacation. We had a cleaning service walk in completely un announced, no knock, no hello, nothing. Luckily we were in the room working on our laptops and refused to let them in. When I called customer service to find out what was happening they were unhelpful, rude, and unapologetic. SOMEHOW the last day of our trip wasn't booked on their end. And when I called to add another day I was told it would be an additional $500 because of "dynamic pricing" and I had " missed my window" to extend my stay at my pre selected rate by 30 min. They were absolutely no help and when I asked for a manager the lady put me on hold and came back with an obvious fake accent/ voice change, 100% still the same lady. Nothing within walking distance. Homeless people in the park across the street. And on top of that trying to scam me out of $500 for missing a 30 minute window? I don't think so. Stay anywhere else. These people will try to scam you any chance they get. We ended up staying at another hotel 10 min away for out last day, it was priced better, smelled better, had wonderful front desk people, and a better vibe. Kasa is over priced and our view was a wall 10 feet from our balcony. View at the new place? Oh that was the mountains at no additional cost. Much better options than kasa out there, kasa is literally renting out apartments they can't sell (this is a partially owned apartment building) because they are charging too much to live in the city. Avoid at all cost. Your wallet will thank you. I can't stress enough how abysmal the customer...
