Residing in this particular property has been fraught with challenges and inconveniences. Initially, during the complex tour, I received information that was highly dubious. The so-called 'move-in ready' apartment we inspected was far from being ready for occupancy. The sink lacked a hot water handle, the dryer was entirely non-functional, there were broken blinds, and the dishwasher was not securely attached to the island (an issue I will address later). Despite these concerns, I decided to lease the property due to its unparalleled location, situated near a park and dog park, making it an ideal environment for pet owners. Nevertheless, the lease process was marred by my interaction with three leasing agents, none of whom exhibited competence in their roles, leaving me to navigate the process alone and constantly remind them to communicate so that progress could be made. This level of inefficiency was perplexing, given that the property management should ideally facilitate a smooth transition for prospective residents.
Moreover, the lack of knowledge displayed by the leasing agents regarding the distinctions between an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) and a Registered Service Animal (RSA) and the corresponding rules and regulations raised concerns. Their frequent rotation of leasing agents, with many new faces in the past six months, further added to the perception of disorganization and inconsistency. Nonetheless, I chose to proceed, hoping for a better experience.
Unfortunately, my encounters with maintenance and the condition of the unit itself have not been any more satisfactory. While I could overlook some minor damage to the wood flooring in the living area, the condition of the unit purportedly labeled 'move-in ready' was disappointing. It seemed as though the cleaning was haphazardly executed, and the property management failed to thoroughly inspect the unit's readiness for occupancy. After much persistence, I managed to get maintenance to address some of the issues, but ongoing problems persist, and my attempts to seek resolution have been met with silence. The advertised 'luxury apartment' status boasted on their website appears far from reality, given the subpar experience I have encountered thus far.
In conclusion, my experience living in this property has been far from the seamless and sophisticated living experience one would expect from a property of this caliber. The lack of transparency during the initial tour, the unprofessionalism exhibited by the leasing agents, and the substandard condition of the unit have all contributed to my disappointment with this otherwise...
Read moreAfter living at AMLI Riverfront Park Denver for 13 months I decided to not renew my lease for multiple reasons, some of which are listed below.
The Good: There is a dog park just outside the apartment which is great if you have a dog. You are very close to Coors Field as well as many other restaurants and bars. Also, you are right on riverfront park which is a plus and a minus. It is a great place to walk around and has great access to bike paths but, the transient population has increased dramatically in the last year and many people do not feel safe walking the area by themselves. Finally, the maintenance team is very quick to respond to requests and are very friendly.
The Annoying: For the price, the amenities are lacking. The pool is open from around May 30th to September 1st regardless of the weather while the pools at comparable apartments are open year-round. You do not always get message that packages have been delivered to the package room meaning you have to keep a close eye on the tracking info received from the shipper. The parking garage is a free for all. While I was there people without permit parked for months, without repercussions, despite being reported. Unless things have changed there is no point in buying a permit for a 2nd car since they don’t tow or ticket cars without permits.
The Bad: The managers ignore most issues that are brought to their attention unless a resident makes a huge deal of an issue and make it feel as though the residents are not valued and easily replaced. One example is that there were multiple bike thefts, from the “secured” bike lockers. These thefts took place over about 5 months and residents posted to the portal about the issue and suggested that management change the code to the storage area. The mangers did NOTHING until the 4th or 5th theft when they finally changed the locker code. My bike was one that was stolen and the thief had enough time to cut through a U-Lock that had a “7” security rating. The management did nothing after I complained and it took another stolen bike before anything was done. This, along with other management interactions makes it feel as though they don’t care about residents and they don’t care if people renew...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I have lived at AMLI Riverfront Park for 9 months now and we have nothing but good things to say.
Christina, Rob, and Anne always respond to e-mails super fast and are very helpful in their responses. Maintenance is unbelievably quick to resolve any service requests, and they are very friendly (they even have treats for our dog). It really makes a world of a difference to have such an awesome community team!
As far as the property goes, the hallways and community areas are always kept very clean. We have seen vacuuming and deep cleaning of the hallways, gym, and shared spaces very frequently. The free Starbucks coffee machine is a major perk! The seasonal pool area is really nice, as well as the rooftop deck with grills. The amenities are never over-crowded, so you can always find a grill or space to hang out. The garage parking is so convenient because you can park on your floor of the building and just walk inside. We often see security walking around the building, so they are definitely putting in the effort to make sure the community is safe.
Our unit was spotless when we moved in - the floors were waxed, the walls were freshly painted, and everything was very clean. The unit finishings look great and it is a very functional layout - we have more cabinets than we know what to do with! We face the dog park and train tracks, and while the train and barking can be noisy if you’re on the balcony (it’s not all of the time), if your windows are shut you can’t hear the train from inside. We are never kept up at night from loud neighbors, and people are always friendly in the hallways.
We have just decided to move to a larger unit here, and Christina has been super helpful with the transition. We are so happy to have found this community in this area of Denver - we couldn’t ask for a better living situation. We’ve recommended this community to our friends and would recommend it to anyone...
