a bit deceiving- this is a room inside of a gym- not a spa (although facials are priced like an actual spa with amenities). you have to wait in a gym lobby and DO plan on waiting. my treatment started over 20 minutes late- i had decided to just walk out when i was finally retrieved. she seemed knowledgeable and provided thoughtful advice and samples and was very conscious about budget providing various alternatives (which is why i added stars), but i would not go here again :( - and definitely you should not unless you have the day off. ā¦ā¦.. responding to the owner - my marketing professor taught me that complaints (and certainly thoughtful feedback) is a gift from customers who want to return (customers who donāt want to return donāt leave reviews), so i am confused by your defensiveness. if you list your business for reviews why does it feel somehow punitive that i share my feedback? why are you soliciting reviews on google if you donāt want feedback?
3 stars means āit was okayā and it WAS just okay. there certainly were some 5 star moments (like your solid expertise and generous sharing of samples and clear desire to help me), but they were offset by really disappointing 1 star pieces (such as waiting by myself in a gym lobby for 25 minutes not sure if you would return and feeling very rushed the entire time afterward). i understand small business, but it feels like you are bullying me into either giving you 5 stars or nothing. why? without honest reviews, how can people know what to expect when they visit you? my friend bought me a gift card thinking it was a spa with amenities and was deceived by reviews so i am sharing information about my experience. but you blame her for not reading all details on your website? she read the reviews!
back to the concept of customers taking time to share feedback when they want to return⦠based on your response, it is clear i am not welcomed back. while a nice gesture, i am a bit confused why you would refund my money when i praised your skills and tipped you 20%+ on the entire amount of the treatment? please keep the money. this is a google review.
try and see if you can use the information i took a lot of time to type here to help your business grow and maybe consider how it might feel to be shamed by an owner for an honest review. it creates detractors (net promoter score if you want to do some research on that)
