I need to mention thanks to the city of Denver this park still appears clean and the river kind of clean despite of some people vandalizing this precious park. People enjoy clean environment, safe and free access to it.There is a some young or old people who don’t respect or are conscious about how much they damage nature, animals, and the beauty of the city of Denver. Please if you use the park pick up your trash and don’t damage the property neither nature. Imagine if someone comes and marks your body with pain without your consent and they call it art. How you will react if someone throws trash at you? Let’s clean after ourselves and be respectful with public places and go to the library get a note book and draw on it. Please keep the parks clean and safe. If we still want to have beautiful place we need to take care of it every one not only the city of Denver. If will be nice to have cámaras direct to the police stations so when someone throws trash or vandalism the parks police can imprison the delinquents or give fines or time to volunteer pick up trash and cleaning the city. Thank you to all people who love the parks and treat it with respect.Lets place some...
Read moreWe are traveling and wanted to stop for the day to hang at a Denver park. I'm so glad we chose commons park. The proximity to Downtown Denver skate park across the street was also great. There are many areas along the water to access it to put your feet in or for dogs and little ones to splash around. The footbridge to Platte street opens access to tons of meal, drink, and snack options to bring over for a picnic. The only downside were the bathrooms. The doors were propped open and there are two toilets but no stalls for privacy (so basically in view of walkers by). They were in a bit of disrepair. For the park size and usage, this should really be addressed to support...

Once every few months you'll spot evidence of work that might even be basic lawn-care that is completely insufficient. Along the main pathway, there are divots filled with water that have become breeding grounds for wasps and hornets. There are probably around 8 of these where each cesspool hosts at least a dozen at any given time. For me, walking through these areas is treacherous. The neighborhood around the park now has wasps and hornets flying around everywhere. I would add photos here but I honestly don't want to get close enough to those things...
