Nice store with beautiful products. We purchased an attractive watch for "her" and a slim RFID security wallet for "him" with designs that we both like.
May 2022 update: the Birdy watch stopped keeping accurate time 10 months after we bought it. I thought it was a battery issue, but the rep in the store stated there are multiple issues with the movement. The local store had to send the watch to the factory for an assessment using analysis tools they did not have in-store at Canfield. I will give a few stars for the watch design and customer service experience so far, but I just cannot recommend a watch that stopped working in less than one year. I do believe they will make this right, but this is our first Shinola purchase, and it does not give me confidence in the Shinola brand. While we were in the store looking at new products, we loved the gorgeous design of the Diamond Petoskey Book watch. We seriously considered buying it, but I can't imagine shelling out $2,900 if I have low confidence in the operational quality.
October 2022 update: After another 5 months, the watch stopped keeping accurate time AGAIN. Same issue as before, so they sent it to the factory for repair. The only good thing I can say is that they stand behind their products with warranty repairs, but the quality is just not there. Will not buy another Shinola product, and I'm tired of driving from the suburbs to the Canfield location for repair. Dropping another star...
Read moreI visited this beautiful store on November 9th. I was in town visiting my family and knew I had to go to Shinola and pick up something for my special person. I originally went to the one about 10min from this location, but because I arrived right when they were closing, they suggested the Woodward store. I'm so happy I went with their suggestion, because not only was their store GORGEOUS, but the customer service was impeccable. I was greeted by both associates and was assisted by, I THINK his name was Roy? I know there was an "R" as the first letter, LOL, but he was AMAZING! So patient, and kind, and of course, went above and beyond in asking what I was looking for and was able to answer all my questions. I want to say a BIG thank you to him and the entire team for , what I'm SURE they're taking care of during the holiday season, but also, for such professionalism, and for knowing your products. Also, what amazing gift wrapping! My partner was so happy with the presentation and continues to talk about his gift and how much he loves it. Read moreFirstly: I LOVE SHINOLA PRODUCTS!! USA MADE AND LIFETIME WARRANTY!! Christian, the gentleman that helped me with my 3 watch service order & metal bracelet issue was EXCELLENT. He was very patient, made sure to keep everything in order and I received emails confirming everything he did. They were able to replace a watch battery for me with my appointment and also sent the other 2 & the bracelet into the the factory for case polishing and new batteries. The bracelet was REPLACED and I am very thankful. I really love this brand and their ability to stand behind their products 100%. The staff at both the Canfield and Woodward store have been amazing to me. My wife has 2 Shinola watches and she loves them very much. One of my watches will be back tomorrow and I appreciate the quick turnaround!! Case polishing is a great way to refresh a worn watch and adding a new band or bracelet is great to. It is reassuring to buy something you can have forever!!! THANKS FOR ALL THAT YOU DO SHINOLA!!!
