If I can give this hotel less than a star I would. Let me start with their customer service. When we arrived the front desk girl was giving me an attitude as if I was making her do something she was not hired to do. The lobby is very nice, there's no doubt about that. However, once we landed on the second floor getting off the elevator the rug was filthy, I couldn't believe that a hotel would let their guest see such a thing. We then walked into our room and the stench was unbearable, so much that I had to get my fabreze from my car to try to get rid of the smell. As we unpacked a few things I noticed that the bed had hairs from the prior guest. I decided to just clean off the hairs from the bed and decided to head out because we were in a hurry to get some food. We got back to the hotel room around 8 pm. When we got to the room our door wouldn't open, I went down to the front desk and the front desk lady wanted to see what was going on. She tried and said that she was going to put us in another room because the door was shut closed and she would have to call someone to get it opened. Our luggage was locked in side along with my toddlers medication. They were not able to open the door and get our stuff out well after midnight. Once we got out luggage she told us we had to stay in the room she moved us to because the prior room was no good. The front desk lady told me that she was going to credit us a day for our inconvenience, so thought it was well managed. As we proceeded to get comfortable and laid in the bed I noticed a foul smell and as I continued to inspect the bed smelled as if someone ran a marathon and jumped into get without showering. It was well passed 2 am and I was to embarrassed to call front desk and let them know my situation. So we decided to sleep without covers and with our cloths on. The next morning I told the front desk lady if someone can kindly change the covers, sheets and pillow cases because they had a foul smell. I described the smell like if someone had ran a marathon and went right to sleep. Front lady said she was going to send someone. As we left the room to enjoy our day I happend to bump into the roomservice lady and I proceeded to inform her that I had spoke to the front desk lady and asked for some clean sheets. She had said she did receive that order and I thanked her and tipped her $15. When we got back to the room to change, our room was organized and wanted to see if the sheets had been changed. They did get changed but they had a moldy smell to them like if they had been stored for years either way we decided to use fabreze once again. The next day as we were checking out unasked about the credit that the prior front desk lady had said we were going to get. The person at the time of check out was entirely different and she said would was going to contact her supervisor and was told that she can only credit $15 for the 4 in a half hours we had been locked out. If you took the time to read this entire review I would greatly suggest to look for...
Read moreMy stay at the hotel was fantastic! From the moment I checked in, the friendly staff welcomed me with a warm smile. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and before I knew it, I was heading to my room. I loved the added security feature that required my room key to access the elevator - it added an extra layer of privacy.||After a long flight, I was exhausted, so I took a refreshing shower in the beautifully decorated bathroom. The firm bed and cool AC (set to a comfortable 69 degrees) ensured a great night's sleep.||The next morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast included with my room. The omelets with ham and sausage were fresh, and the glass of orange juice and coffee were the perfect accompaniments. While there were other options available, I stuck to my favorite eggs. The breakfast was well-organized, and I appreciated the attention to detail.||After a productive day at work, I returned to the hotel and headed to the bar restaurant, where I met some great people. We chatted about life, shared some laughs, and unwound over a glass of wine. It was fantastic to connect with fellow travelers and locals alike. After a wonderful evening, I retired to my room to relax and unwind. My bed was firm with nice covers and four pillows - exactly what I needed after a long day.||The next morning, I started early with a gym session. The fitness area was well-equipped, and I was able to stick to my exercise routine. After a quick shower, I headed off to work. Unfortunately, I overslept a bit and didn't have time for breakfast, but the bed and pillows were so comfortable that I couldn't resist staying in a bit longer.||In the afternoon, I returned to the hotel and was greeted with the same warm smile. I felt right at home and decided to have dinner at the restaurant. The steak with veggies was delicious, and I enjoyed two glasses of Malbec wine. For dessert, I had a tiramisu, which was heavenly. The price was reasonable - $60 for the steak, two glasses of wine, and dessert. Our waiter, Nicolas, was attentive and friendly, not at all like some corporate types who can come across as snobbish.||Overall, I had a great experience at the hotel. The service was excellent, the decor was upscale, and the value was unbeatable. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, whether it's for work or family enjoyment in the city, or even as a stopover before embarking on a cruise from the...
Read moreIt speaks volumes about a man who acts strangely passive aggressive with a guest, a solo female traveler at that. I checked into this hotel with my credit card, but I had to challenge the front desk worker regarding him wanting to hold a security deposit of $100. ||There is a sign on the front desk that reads “if you have paid with a “debit card,” we will hold a $100 security deposit.” Well, you would think that would sum it up. ||Doesn’t apply to this guest, because I used a credit card. The worker became disrespectful and began mumbling and his attitude shifted in a negative way. I asked for him to speak to me a little louder, especially since he was the one with AirPods in his ear..why wouldn’t his gauge for hearing and speaking clearly be distorted. He got upset and wanted to argue about his AirPod in a “so what, makes no difference, kind of manner.” Well, it did. Because he kept mumbling low. ||I immediately asked for a manager, who not only walked over and was kind, he honored what he knew to be right immediately. He did not hold a security deposit because I did not pay with a debit card. ||Shortly after, I went downstairs and this young man began singing, being unruly basically, once he saw me again. When I approached it was as if he was having the most wonderful day. He very well could have been. But common sense said he was being facetious.||When I used the hotels’ ATM to have the ability to use their coin laundry machines, he stated happily that he was “fresh out” of change. ||I asked if the manager was still around, and unfortunately, he had left. ||Not only did I feel uncomfortable in this hotel, I feel I could not ask the front desk worker for anything without his demeanor being weird. He made me so uncomfortable. ||I just hope the manager gets a chance to read this review. Because going thru life wanting to aggravate a situation because someone spoke up for themselves is a cowardly and undeserved trait in a human being. Much less at your job. ||You cannot deceive everyone. If the sign said a security deposit would be held whether you paid with a debit or credit card, I would’ve totally understood....
