Unbelievable bad experience purchasing a dryer and built in oven& microwave that has gone from bad to worse. I was not told there was an installation fee for the oven, only that I needed to make sure my old oven was out as they would not take it out but could install if the space was readied, delivery was available for 2 days later so I rushed to get s handyman- $200 for handyman work that was supposed to be compensated through a product rebate. They deliver the next day but day sorry, no install, it wasn't planned and by the way it costs $200! I called the store right away as I was upset not only that no install was scheduled but the cost was never disclosed, I speak with the Dublin Manager, Genevieve. She was rude and would not tell me she would fix the issue, just kept telling me to read the contract and that it didn't say install, only deliver, what she didn't acknowledge is it said "install" on the dryer line...so yes I missed the contract but I sure knew the conversation the sales guy had with me specifically on installation requirements (that I did)! I said if you cannot make this right then I'll send it back and purchase elsewhere, her answer "go ahead". Over $3,600 for the appliances and that's how I'm treated. The salesman called me right away on his day off to assure me he would address the misunderstanding and absorb install costs. I agreed and when the installers came 3 days later, they said you will have a gap in the space at the bottom, I knew this and said yes, I'll get trim to cover it later. They get to work. They then tell me they are done and had installed it without a riser to a gap was now at the top and I cannot get a trim for the space and it is ascetically wrong! I asked why it wasn't moved up and they said it would have been another $180, so they decided not to do it! They didn't even give me a choice! So now I call the corporate offices, Tom answers my call and says he will arrange to get it fixed, and while he did get finally get me scheduled for a reinstall they again said they could only do the work for another $275! I am so disappointed, I went to a local store to get service and it was a complete failure. Months later and emails to the President and numerous customer service emails in which they said they would refund the install fix at a minimum and get me the rebate, and nothing. I will surely share this experience on every social media and ratings sites as I can! I have never been so disappointed in a purchase experience before. For the first time in my life I will take a store to small claims court - at the very least they should have handled to correct a bad initial install and processed the rebate...

CUSTOMER SERVICE We had the salesperson Matthew who seemed knowledgeable. The main problem was that he spoke very fast, which when you're buying these kinds of equipment, I'd like to know I'm choosing the best one for my situation. He was too quick to get straight to the point as if he was trying to make a quick sale and get out. it was hard getting in touch with him when we ran into trouble. Later on, his colleague mentioned he had certain details on his work log that he didn't communicate to the installation team in the first place... which led this two week and counting headache of needing to call back and forth with Airport Home Appliance and a plumber.
INSTALLATION DISASTER They have different third-party companies installing the machines but Matthew, our Airport salesperson, did not assess the situation too well which made for a disastrous install process all due to liability issues. I am writing this as the second installation company tells us for the second time that they cannot setup the appliances. With the first install company, the technicians said the shut-off valves were too corroded. The second company said nothing was wrong with the valves but they did not want to install the machines because we do not have a secure anchoring device to which he easily shook the machine to show us how easily it could fall. — we are in a small townhouse where the machines need to be stacked in a tiny space. Neither the first installation company nor the Airport salesperson made this assessment. (We showed a photo to the salesperson and he said it was okay.)
Goods n Bads: great selection of appliances, even for our small washer dryer space Bad preparation on part of Airport Home Appliances, 3+ Installation appointments and still not able to complete an install, waste of time waiting to setup the machines, ordered a week and a half before thanksgiving and now it’s going into December
I should just learn myself how to install these things or call a local...
Read moreThe Maytag washer we bought a couple years ago has already required work twice. Fortunately we bought the extended warranty right? Wrong..... They send a tech out a week after we call for service. Ok, I can understand this. We are all busy. The machine was throwing au code that google told us was a drain issue. The tech that shows up promptly tells us that “he can’t do anything with that” and will have to “order a drain pump.” This will take an additional two weeks to get parts and have them installed. In the mean time we have two young kids with no washer. Here are my issues- 1- at least take a look at the machine? See if it’s a quick fix? All the tutorials I watched online tell me that sometimes this is a drain trap issue. Quick fix. Nope, no effort. 2- why didn’t they ask when we made the initial appoint about the code? They could have ordered the parts and brought them with them? Or better yet, just carry an extra pump or two on your rig? I guess this makes too much sense. 3- my wife was home when the tech showed up and he fired up the machine. This added additional water into the machine. There was already water present in the machine from a week ago (when it died) and it was starting to smell. He made no attempt or offer to drain it knowing it would be an additional two weeks before he would be out there again. 4- two weeks to get a pump? Funny, I can order the same pump on Amizon Prime and have it overnight. One would think that being in the washing machine repair business, one would ensure timely parts. Again, I suppose this makes too much sense.
This ding is not nessasarily against Airport Home Appliance, but their extended service companies they have representing them. Very poor customer service. Think twice about buying the extended...
