Goodbye money. If you take off the minute hand on a clock or watch, can you still tell the time? Of course you can, unless you're using my Citizen Eco-Drive, supposedly 'fixed' by Dunedin Jewelers. Anyone who owns a Citizen knows how to set them. The arms are misaligned and that's why we brought it. After it was 'fixed' and sent home with my wife , I saw that the hour hand was still misaligned. The watch is nearly 3 hours off...and still is. The jeweler set the watch as close as the misalignment would permit, and charged $100 for it. Eco-Drive radio resets in the middle of the night, usually between 2 and 4am. When it reset, the date even went back eight days. Returning the watch this morning with our complaint, the proprietor told us to Google how to reset it AND said "something was done to it", insinuating some form of misuse on our part. We hadn't even worn the watch. $100 to tell us to Google it. That is not service, not in any business. Adding insult to injury, my 1962 Wittnauer Longines that we also took to him for repair was overwound, disabling the main spring. It's useless now. I will be taking it to someone willing to say "I don't know" before accepting the job. Dunedin Jewelers...
Read moreFive stars isn’t enough! I can’t say enough good things about Dunedin Jewelers. I brought in my wedding ring set for resizing, and Enrique had it beautifully done in less than 24 hours—something I didn’t even think was possible! The quality of his work is truly outstanding.
What really sets this shop apart is the family-first, small business atmosphere. The walls are lined with baseball team photos of Enrique’s kids, and it’s clear that this isn’t just a business—it’s a labor of love rooted in the community. They’ve been a part of Dunedin for over 30 years, and it shows in the care and professionalism they bring to every customer.
Enrique was kind, professional, and incredibly fair with his pricing. If you’re looking for trustworthy, high-quality jewelry work with a personal touch, this is the place. Support small, local businesses—you...
Read moreGood price, quality work, and fast but the reason I gave 3 stars is because the gentleman running the store was rude. I brought my ring in to be sized down and i told him that it’s too big and he said with attitude “are you sure” and it was 2 1/2 sizes too big. it was literally falling off my hand. then i call 2 days later to see if it’s done, i give him my name and ask if it’s done and he said again with attitude “well first off i need your name because i have absolutely no idea who you are or what you brought me” and again i had told him my name. i just didn’t like the attitude he had given me.
Update: I took it to another jeweler and they said my ring was yellow, it was brand new and only worn for 3 days. They said the previous place i took it too (Dunedin jewelers) did something to my ring to make it yellow, like didnt put a...
