We've been a Publix customer for decades. Occasionally we've tried other grocery stores and always come back to Publix. They are more expensive on some items but less expensive on others. But it's their philosophy that makes the difference. They want customers totally satisfied: If you don't like a product, bring it back for refund or store credit - no questions asked!
Their staff is exemplary: ready to help you in store and ready to help you to your car with groceries. Their staff is cultivated to serve the customer. They'll notice you searching for an item and immediately volunteer to help you find it. Their employees are loyal because management is loyal to them with a profit sharing plan that's unmatched in any other organization.
I've recently referred one of my students to a Publix near their high school. The manager was receptive and appreciative of a student referral. They're very responsive to their young, adult, and handicapped staff members.
This is why Publix has been consistently voted one of the best places to work. And the Granada store is a perfect example of their exceptional staff, management team, and...
Read moreThis is my local publix but I am beyond frustrated with them. I have celiac disease and as a result I have to eat gluten free, this is NOT a choice. Any way I got gluten free rolls, and have been buying them almost every week for 4 years since I moved here. this time(its happened 3-4 times now with different brands)it was Udis dinner rolls. They are frozen so they have a good shelf life and taste like normal rolls, anyway I went in to do my grocery shopping and was told they decided to discontinue carrying them, I went to speak to customer service I wanted to find out if they would reconsider. The only thing the customer service person wanted to tell me was she couldn't help me due to covid 19 there were no special orders. Last time they told me the product was discontinued, the manufacturer said that was incorrect and urged me to ask publix to reconsider THEIR choice to stop carrying their products. So I've decided to shop else where, where they consider people with...
Read moreI mostly go to this plaza for Publix - it is the closest one to my house. There is typically enough parking and lot is generally clean. However the access points - especially the one on Keene Rd.- are very congested with a confusing configuration. The Bank of America, located across Keene is VERY busy and this just adds to the chaos. The access point on Main all has "issues" because it is small and there is actually another driveway nearby. I would just ask anyone visiting this mall to slow down and be considerate. We all have to get along here in this little (but growing!) City of Dunedin. Let's keep it a great place to live by taking...
