I brought my son who has some special needs in for an event they were having for children on a Saturday morning. We didn't get halfway into the store when we were greeted by two large, black dogs who were growling and barking at us. I put my son (who is 7 and afraid of dogs) behind my back and we attempted to back out slowly with the dogs advancing on us. The owner was nowhere to be seen. I said out loud "Ok, Im leaving" and then I heard her yell "They won't bite you", but made no attempt to retrieve them.

I told her that having loose agressive dogs at an even for young children was really irresponsible. I get it, you're a dog person. And as such, you expect the world to be dog people too. But you're running a business. And when you're dealing with children, you could be dealing with allergies, fears, etc.

Completely unsafe behavior on the part of the owner when kids are involved.

She should have run out immediately, restrained her dogs, and put them away. She didn't even apologize.

I attended Aura Ceramics Friday Night Family class bringing along my 13 yo son for quality time. I had called and reserved our space nearly a week ahead because class room space is limited. It was a good thing I had, because the seating sold out. They have a large selection of pieces to choose from. I left 4 stars instead of 5 because I felt the paint selection (free to use theirs in first visit) was limited and the instructor micromanaged creative design on several customer pieces. Staff was helpful and I would support this small business again though probably choosing to paint my own...

The 2 black labs were a pleasant surprise to all of us. My grands loved them ..friendly and harmless. Larry and Miss Kate could not b any more patient with our grands. While my husband waited, Jay gave my husband a show and tell of how they prepare the molds themselves Downstairs. The pricing and amount of inventory makes it worth the trip. You will not be disappointed..walk away proud of what you can accomplish with some guidance. Our grands cannot wait to display what they did not know they were capable of.
