As a global traveler, airport lounges are usually a treat. But it is rare to find a good one in US. This one at EWR Terminal A is above average over the many AA Admirals Clubs.
It has pleasing ambience, well lit and has a very nice interior design.
However, the hot food remains average to mediocre, sometimes even unhealthy. Breakfast food here is okay, EXCEPT for that terrible preprocessed egg. —- It looks like custard on first glance, BUT IT’S THAT UNHEALTHY PREPROCESSED ARTIFICIAL-TASTING EGG. This should NEVER ever be served😡😡😡😡.
Fresh fruit is good—-EXPAND IT, add more variety.
With all that membership $$$ accrued, AA needs to improve their food. … STOP contributing to bad eating habits and serving artificial foods…

The bartender was prompt and friendly. Nice furniture, plenty of friendly staff working to keep the place clean. Definitely worth stopping in if you're a member or have a lot of time before...
