Had friends in town from Chicago for a short weekend and they requested Cajun for dinner. We all agreed to try this new seafood restaurant, though it was on the other side of town.
We ordered a dozen oysters, Cajun fries, and Cajun wings as appetizers. Oysters were good but small. Cajun fries did not taste like Cajun fries, not sure what seasoning was on it, but it was not Cajun. For the wings, was expecting something more Vietnamese style, like fish sauce wings. Honestly, was not a fan of the seasoning and they were hard as rock.
We went with bundle #2 option that came with crawfish, mussels, lobster, snow crab, clams, shrimp and sides like corn, potatoes, and sausage. We added another pound of snow crab to the bucket. Reel it in sauce that has all the sauces combined was very good, to say the least. There was so much food shared between the four of us, we had leftovers and ended up taking it home and it was just as good with the sauce soaked in the catches.
This restaurant is probably in second place on my list for Cajun in Colorado, so far -- because of the sauce. Will return for the seafood but not so much...
Read moreAmazing experience! Upon walking in we got a friendly welcome by the servers and they immediately sat us down. Service wasn’t the only thing that blew us away, their food was by far one of the best Cajun sauce in Colorado. I try many and so far this is the most authentic taste. We got the reel it all in 2x spicy. Their spice level is perfect and it not powdery like the other Cajun place when we order spicy. Their sauce is savory butter. Make sure to order their garlic bread to dip in the sauce you won’t be disappointed. The meal was phenomenal, the servers were super helpful, wonderful atmosphere. We would definitely be returning in the near future.
Many thanks to reel Cajun for a fantastic meal and...
