I want to give a shout out for Menard's. It was about 7:45 PM when I got the call. It was freezing outside and getting cold on the inside of a elderly clients home. Some electrical breakers in his new service panel that somebody installed for him were under amped for the demand. It was about 8:00 PM when I arrived at the house. I discovered the problem and called Menard's. I told them what I needed and this was a life or death situation and that I was in route to the store to pick up the breakers. When I arrived at the store Menard's had officially closed. On the telephone they told me to go to the exit door. I walked in,they had the breakers at the register. The transaction took all of thirty seconds. Without the help of Menard's management this story could had had a tragic consequences. I returned to the clients home and worked in the dark replacing the breakers. By the time that I got done my fingers were freezing. I'm not an electrician. I leave that to the pro's. Read moreWorst Menards store! EVERY time I come here. I check on the app to check stock, it shows plenty, sometimes up to qtys of 30 of an item. I drive the 30 minutes to the Farmington store and find out after asking for help, they don't have the item and have to write the items out. I've been told more than once by employees how when things are received on stock truck many times items are missing but are received into stock anyway and errors aren't found until customers come looking for the items. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE! ONLY RECEIVE WHAT YOU'VE RECEIVED. If errors in stock only happened once or twice, no problem, but this is over 12 or more times on multiple visits. Forcing me to drive an hour and half the opposite direction for a more reliable store. Fix your receiving and stock problems. THIS IS A PITIFUL BUSINESS. I do appreciate the honest of the employees. That would be a devastating mistake on a business if they tried to hush their employees on such a critical management/ownership procedural error, that of simply only receiving what you actually receive. Read moreThis has to be the worst experience I have ever had with a home improvement store. I ordered cabinets on Sunday Oct 28th and was told all items except 4 doors were in stock but they would be special ordered and in store in just a few days. Fast forward to today 11-23-18, I have been back to the store a total of 5 times in the past month, never once was I notified the doors were in and never once did they have all of my doors .We have a grand opening of my wife's business tomorrow and are still missing 1 cabinet door thanks to Menards poor service. It looks so tacky and will be impossible to hide during the grand opening .After I get the 1 door Im waiting on (probably after Christmas) I will never step foot in...
