This was the least professional interaction I have ever had with a company.
We drove 50 miles away from home, because it was the only approved screen replacement business that was approved thru Asurion. It was a simple cracked screen, all functions of phone still worked, just issues with screen. Supposed to be a $30 fix. We were told on the phone this process would take no longer than 1.5 hrs. Upon arrival, we were told it would take 3 hours. We told the employee that we were 50 miles from home, we'd be returning home, and come back in 3 hours. After receiving no phone calls during the 3 hour window, we went back to the store to be told that there was an issue, and that the phone wouldn't be ready for another 2 hours. We then wasted time in town, and received a phone call from the store just minutes before the 2 hour window,Employee told us there was an issue, and that the camera no longer worked after replacing the screen. We asked what the solution was.The employee simply said to make a claim with Asurion, for replacement, and we'd be on our way with a new phone. He failed to mention that process would now cost $200 for a replacement. Employee claimed that Asurion "should" just send a new one no charge, but claimed he couldn't assist. Then, employee stated that he was in the process of taking the New unbroken screen off of the phone, and placing the old broken screen back onto the phone, in order to give it back to us. Yes, YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY.The stores answer to this issue was to remove the new screen that we had originally traveled 100 miles round trip, twice, & paid for, and put the broken screen BACK ON THE PHONE. What kind of answer is this from a company, after THEY break the functionality of the phone, then go through the hassle of taking the new screen off, and applying the old broken screen back on for the customer. Unacceptable. Again, no assistance in working with Asurion on making it right for the customer, after breaking the phone, and giving the phone BACK TO THE CUSTOMER IN WORSE CONDITION THAN IT ARRIVED IN. The Company should be called "UBreakWeBreakMore", "UBreakIfixThenIBreakNowUFix" or "IbreakUFix".The reason for swapping the old broken screen back on the phone you ask? Employee claimed that his supervisor instructed him to, because "When you send the phone in for replacement, you need to have the original parts"...Wait, what does this replacement have to do with the Screen now? You broke the Camera Function on the phone, employee told us the camera function broke because of fragile legs to processors within the phone, and that one of the legs must have broken, losing the camera function completely. How does that make ANY SENSE? And how is that a professional answer to a customer, that YOU returned the phone to in WORSE condition than it came into the store.I'll add, that during this event, there were 4 other customers in the waiting area. ALL 4 OF THEM were told there was issues during the repair, or that they were completely unable to repair the phone, ALL 4. They fixed 0 phones, out of 4 tries. On top of all of this, once we left the store, the phone DIDNT EVEN HAVE NETWORK CONNECTION. We turned around, came back to the store, the same employee simply said that's weird, IDK why that'd happen. Come to find out, he also damaged the SIM Card Reader. SO NOW, We not only have a phone that doesn't have a Camera, but we cant even MAKE PHONE CALLS. This phone cannot do ANYTHING now. All from this shop attempting to fix a Broken screen. GARBAGE. DO NOT GO HERE. ANY CELL PHONE PROVIDER SHOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP. DO NOT SEND YOUR WORST ENEMY HERE, THEY ARE INCOMPETENT AND INCONSIDERATE. WILL NOT MAKE THINGS RIGHT FOR CUSTOMER. WORST, THEE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED....
Read moreThe website says nothing about a deposit, and also stated that for the repair I needed it would be $180. The day I went in to drop off my console, I was told a $60 deposit is required, and that they are aware their website doesn’t say it. Then, the price changed from $180 to over $200. I was told that because of the confusion on their website, that I didn’t need to pay anything until AFTER the console was repaired and that it would be done 1/2/25. Almost a week later, a few days before the initial date of completion, my husband called to check on the status because we would be out near the store and if it was done, we would swing by and grab it. He spoke to someone new on the phone this time and was told that our console hasn’t even been sent in yet, because we hadn’t paid anything. He explained to the employee that we were told we didn’t have to pay until after the repair was done. So our console was sitting there for almost a week? My husband then tells the employee that we would just be coming to pick it up. A few minutes later, we get a call back saying that there was a mistake and that our Xbox HAD actually been sent in, and that no worries on the payment, they found the notes and see that we were told we didn’t need to pay until repairs were done and he apologized for the confusion. We understand it’s a busy time of year, no big deal. Then the 2nd comes along, and I get a phone call from them. Thinking it would be them saying it was done. Nope. I get told that because we haven’t paid, our Xbox has yet to be shipped out. I explained to the worker how this will now be the 3rd time we’ve discussed this, and that this is absolutely unacceptable. So our Xbox sat there for over a week while we got the run around. My husband went and picked it up that day, and took it down the road to CPR repairs right on Miller rd. It was HALF the price to have it repaired and it was done THAT day. This place is a joke and I will never step foot in there again and have been warning many people to not give them business.
I wish zero stars...
Read moreWhat can I say. Beyond impressed. Between two consoles and almost two months of calling them for their knowledge, I am very happy with this repair place. Originally I called for just advice. Over the course of almost two months I called probably well over 10 times. Each time I got very lucky and spoke with either Brenden or Seth. What a couple of great guys. Even though I was calling with intentions of fixing the consoles myself they didn’t hesitate to help. That is unheard of nowadays. They are both extremely knowledgeable and unlike every other place I called they actually took the time to try and help diagnose my issues, while also recommending multiple things to try and resolve my issues. They both were very aware of the issues, causes, and solutions. Just from the phone calls I was actually able to diagnose the issue with both of my Xbox One X’s. One was essentially a lost cause due to part availability, and the other one was actually an easy fix. The fix was something I could have actually done myself, but strictly based on the help and kindness I received from both Seth and Brenden I decided to bring the console in and give them the business. However I know they would have gladly directed me towards helpful resources to do it myself. They had very fair prices, and unlike most places they will actually diagnose the issue for free. I dropped it off 5 minutes before close, and they called me the next day at lunch time!! I would highly recommend this place. I would ask specifically for either of these guys as they were just great and really the main reason I’m writing this review. Something as simple as a broken Xbox can ruin your entire day. But Seth and Brenden got me fixed right up. Thanks again guys! I’ll be bringing all future work here as well as anyone I know! Just a great experience all the way around. Thank you to the both of you if you...
