By far the worst crab I've ever had. If you get the chance to stop here, take a hard pass. I left feeling like I wronged the chef in a past life and he or she has been waiting to exact their revenge. On one hand I feel good that someone probably feels karma has been restored, but on the other hand I will lay awake wonder what I must have done to cause someone to feel this way. I suppose in some strange way I have learned a lot from this experience. Maybe we should be more aware of how we treat others. I like to believe I'm generally nice and respectful, but who knows, I might have slipped up. Perhaps I cut someone off without realizing, maybe I didn't hold the door open for someone behind me, as a small child I may have cried on a plane not allowing someone enough sleep causing them to be ill prepared for a job interview in which they bombed and maybe they were banking on this interview to go well so they finally move out of their aunt's basement. And when it didn't go well they knew they would need to finally accept that job offer their aunt's "friend", Buckly offered to work at the kitchen at Hooters. It seemed like a decent gig, the people were nice, but Buckly was a little abrasive and that gold tooth and coffee breathe were always tough to endure. Not a day goes by where you don't think about the job interview, and that wretched child from the plane who stole the life that was rightfully yours. You did well in college, your charismatic, qualified for the role, the role you missed out on. It will always be that baby that got in your way. You write it on a post note and hang it on your bathroom mirror. Every morning you stare at it. The days start to blend together, they seem shorter. Buckly and your aunt are not doing well, she knows what he's really up to. As you start to look at the brighter side you start to realize that Buckly's coffee breath is at least a reminder that you don't have Covid. Maybe there is hope. Then one day, the child walks in, the one from your dreams, the face you see on that post it note every morning. When you blink, it's singed to the back of your eye lids. But there he is, dopey as your remember, and you finally realize it's your turn. You race to the ticket dispenser and wait eagerly. You peak out the window to see the child, now a full grown adult, still dumb and stupid as the baby he once was. He fumbles with his credit card. Of course he does, you think to yourself, he's basically still the same crying baby you remember. The ticket finally comes through. You immediately pull it from the dispenser to see the name of this man-child you have despise so much. The name at the top reads "Zach". What a stupid baby name you think to yourself as you inadvertently test the tensile strength of the receipt. Not a lot to this order, but fret you do not, as there at plenty of room for you to "flex your creative side". Only half of the wings will be dressed, is your first thought. Innocent enough, more of a diversion if anything. A simple mistake like this shall open up opportunities for you to do something much more dastardly. Buckly asks you "what's so funny". You saying "nothing dad, I mean sir" as you realize you were laughing out loud. And there it is. The skies open up, you can see it so clearly. After 25 long long years, it's your time, a day for you to come out on top. Order will be restored today! The crab will be cooked according to protocol, as indented; however, there will be one misstep. One fatal flaw that will turn some truly fresh tasting crab (honestly, it did taste pretty fresh, 9/10 on that front) to the most painful experience this giant toddler has have seen. Once the legs have been cooked to perfection, I will refuse the required ice bath, forcing the meat to adhere to the legs in such a way that will make ZaCh leave wondering "how could crab in Chicago be better". This is just my best guess at what happened. Crab sucked though,...
Read moreIt is a pity, that in a country so defender of rights and that both fight and proclaim against discrimination we have had to live to the contrary on the part of the manager who came in turn on today 07/1/2018 in the schedule that includes after 4 p.m. Starting his turn, he went to our table asking in an insinuating and unprofessional way if everything was fine, to which we answered yes, but still insisted then more than another occasion, leaving no doubt in us, that something was not to his liking, without realizing until then what was his reason. We had already consumed, closed and paid a $200 bill, we were two couples who had decided to spend the afternoon in Ft Lauderdale and we chose this place , we decided after closing that account to stay in the place because we liked the environment and how we were doing it,until the waitress told us that her manager said that we could not order more beer and that the jar that she was bringing was at that moment the last one according to his manager, we did not understand that message because logically without having an inappropriate behavior, an obscene word, or some kind of disturbance of order or even make us notice over the others no more than the manager for our consumption, not the decision taken by him was explicable, everything was in order, behavior, payment and how much they could measure, for us the attitude of this manager was taken as a discrimination as Latinos and a lack of respect for the client, because far from encouraging consumption of any kind, be it food or beverages for and benefit to your company, what it has achieved is to drive away customers who were making profits, but even more because we are not going to rest and we will look for the necessary resources so that he will make use of his faculties of address to his house that is where it can be that an entity can handle, because in terms of market leaves much to be desired without even knowing how to give an explanation to the decision to put a stop to our consumption since there is no document saying that it was so and that there are limits of consumption, something that he himself admitted. He should worry more about other people who enter and consume and pollute the environment of that Hooters of smell of marijuana and not mess with people who quietly go after a hard week of work to recreate in peace This post is the same case of Yanetsy Rivero’s post,we were the couple went with they and suffered...
Read moreThe server Telecia at the s Atlantic location was horrible from the beginning of the visit. The server was not polite, or attentive. She was rude. She was not welcoming at all. The ticket time for the food was 45 minutes on a slow Wednesday afternoon for 2 two salads and two burgers. The food was cooked incorrectly. One burger had to be sent back then taken off the check due to incorrect temp. Drinks were not refilled. Sever never did a check back, we had to track her down for simple things like condiments. Repeatedly my party had to request assistance from the only other server on the floor. Overly frustrated i asked to speak to the manager. After providing my feedback to the manager about the sub par service and food errors the manager, directly to the server. The server then returned to the table extremely aggressive and confrontational question the feedback and not once taking accountable for the poor service. The audacity. After this interaction had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the check. For a party of 5.. the check of $111 was the amount provided on the receipt. No more than 30 seconds later an alert from my bank shows a charge which was 130. We did not include a tip or authorization for a tip. We immediately requested to see the manager again who proceeded to lie and attempt to steal. The manager lied and stated the increase in the price was a requirement from the bank. Little did he know the people in our party happen to work for major credit card company and another is a manager for a local financial institution. Once confronted with the untruths in his statement and educating your manager in the rules around credit card processing the manager had no response. This attempt and behavior is 100% theft. I am sure we are not the first customers who these employees have stolen from. Be clear this is an attempt of theft. Sub par service, slow food delivery, and then you attempt to steal. Beware,, dont waste your time or energy on...
