The outside of the store advertises 50 off everything. And everything must go. Went to a rack of shirts that said 12.99. The first shirt displayed had a screen print (still on the rack for 12.99). And the rest are plain to be customized. While looking for a size medium the lady worker was trying to help the size I needed and there weren’t any. Instead of not getting the size I needed I let her talk me into getting a small because apparently everyone in this shop knows what size everyone where’s. After I asked if the screen print was free and at the same time a worker asked her a question and she walked away from me to help the worker. So after not getting an answer and based on the rack price I assumed the price was still 12.99. Went to the counter to pick out print, checked out and my total was 32.10 for what is now a shirt that doesn’t fit. I then asked about the price change and apparently the printing was almost 20 bucks. (I probably should’ve just cancelled the transaction then, but was trying to be hopeful for a vacation T-shirt to take home)
Once back to the hotel I tried the shirt on but it doesn’t fit. I called the number provided on the receipt but got no answer, so the next day I chose to walk 20 minutes to try and exchange the shirt. I asked a worker if I could exchange it and when he saw it was a “custom” he told me that I can’t exchange the shirt. So Im repeatedly asking how I can exchange for a different size or color but I was told no every time due to it being a “custom” (Fort Lauderdale screen print.....not like it’s bugs bunny or a name) he was also telling me I WAS a size small like I don’t know the clothes that fit me.
After starting to walk out of store bummed, the guy then asked “there’s nothing else that you like?”, making me feel like he might let me exchange the shirt at last avail, so I stop confused to hear what he says. I then stop and say that “didn’t you just say that we can’t exchange this”, and my boyfriend stepped outside to wait and the worker told me my boyfriend had a bad attitude so he’s not going to help me. Which the bad attitude from my boyfriend was a one liner that was “this is obviously not worth our time”
He was very definite on no being an answer, until we started to leave and he was backpedaling on his answer. Once questioned upon his backpedaling, his answer was still no, and apparently our questioning makes us have bad attitudes.
Easily one of the worst places to shop In The area. Go somewhere else. There is obviously a lot of reasons this place is so...
Read moreDONT SHOP HERE. Went in with the intention of buying 2 sweaters for a reasonable price. We were told that the sweaters were going to be each $14.99 with any design that we wanted. To make sure we even asked a worker that was working the floor if there was going to be an uncharge, and we we're told the price was going to be the $14.99. I went to give the sweatshirts to the lady at the register so we can get the designs on the sweaters. I even asked the lady if there was going to be an up charge for the designs on the sweatshirts, and we were told no. So I agreed on the sweatshirts. Prior to the lady ringing me up, I expected the price to be $30 plus some tax for two sweatshirts with the designs on them. The lady rang up the sweaters and stated that the payment was ready. I wanted to ask what the price of my total was. But, as I inserted my card into the card reader, she accused one of the people that was with me of stealing, stating where the pink sweater that they were previously holding for me. The friend went and put the sweater back on the rack because I didn't want to purchase it. This all happened in the time span that I inserted my card and signed the card reader, which didn't state the total price. On top of that, the card reader was above my head, so I couldn't even see the total price. We were not told the total of the price until the card was processed, and then I asked what the total was, which came out to $103 instead of the $30 that we were told. I was so flabbergasted that I just left the store. I ended up returning back later to dispute the purchase, and the people who worked there an hour ago were not there. I ended up asking to talk to a manager. The person who we ended up talking to wasn't the manager but the "manager" on shift. We explained our whole situation and that it was the principle of the thing. The "manager" stated that it wasn't right that the lady accused my friend on the down low of stealing. The "manager" said that no one held a gun to our head to insert the card into the card reader. He said that if i didn't want to purchase it that we should not have put my card in. He stated that he couldn't give a refund because it is the law in florida that prohibits refunds. If we wanted, he would give us 20% off on our next purchase and a free key chain. But otherwise then that, he couldn't do anything, with a cocky attitude. DO NOT SHOP HERE. THEY SAY ONE THING AND DO THE OPPOSITE. THEY WILL GASLIGHTING IF YOU TRY TO...
Read moreDo not go here- they tell you a sweatshirt is $19.99 in very small print it says Plain then they ask if you are paying cash or credit before they start the sale and if you say credit they charge you over $40 for the sweatshirt - I received a copy of the receipt after I signed the cc slip- u have to sign on a high counter so if you are a normal person that assumes you will pay what the sign says and you don’t look before you sign (honestly I don’t even know if the price was listed on the cc slip) After I left I checked my receipt I went back in to ask why I was charged double and to return it if this cost was accurate- they pointed to an 8x11” sign hidden up in the rafters that refers to the cost of a design which you didn’t realize you were paying for because they don’t tell you- and they wouldn’t let me return it and pointed to another maybe 2”x4” sign on the cash register that is to your far right when checking out so again you’d never see it unless you knew to look for it-the sign, you guessed it, says no returns or exchanges because they just stole your money and aren’t about to give it back. Any positive reviews are fake and there is no name of the store in front because they are well aware of what they are doing - most dishonest way to “earn” a living. The women at the counter claim to only work there they are not the owners- then why would you not tell people you are charging them double and when I went back in there one of them did admit and agree that what they did was wrong and they should tell people how much they are charging people for a design they don’t even realize they are paying for. But based on the reviews they don’t change a thing assuming most people...
