My wife visited once previously and had a good experience, so she suggested that we go for pedicures as part of our first wedding anniversary/wife's birthday celebrations. Bad idea. The atmosphere was nice and we enjoyed the complimentary sodas, that's about the extent of the good things I can say. The female front desk worker was rude and very short and snappy with us. Because they were extremely understaffed (I'm talking no more than maybe 6 people working on a SATURDAY afternoon and the front desk staff was having to do all of the running around/make ready/cleanup work) we waited for no less than 45 minutes. About halfway through they did offer to let us go ahead to the chairs and let our feet soak, but we sat there so long that the water got cold. They warmed mine slightly when they finally started, didn't warm my wife's at all. I have a latex allergy which I informed the front desk worker about and because they didn't have any gloves that were latex free they just didn't use gloves at all on either of us, which didn't necessarily bother me, but I would think it would be a potential health hazard to them. The dead skin grater they used for my wife was noticeably dirty and the pedicures were very rushed overall, so much so that even after they asked and my wife told them that she wanted her manicure done there at the chairs, they rushed her over to the tables to do her nails and didn't let her toenails dry so one of her big toes had chipped by the time we got home. The manicure was no better. They rushed her to the table and then the guy left and came back 10 minutes later wreaking of cigarette smoke and then proceeded to do her nails a different color than she asked for. She questioned it and he continued. By this time I had moved over to were she was (they had told me I could stay in the massage chair and wait for her but then continued to come by over and over wanting to know if I wanted to go over where she was as if they really wanted me to move so they could clean, you know because there were only 40 other chairs available). My wife told me what was going on so when he was finished we questioned the color again. He called the front desk guy over and they spoke back and forth in their language, so I don't know what they were saying but their facial expression gave me the impression that they thought my wife was just unhappy with the result and was just trying to get it redone for free. They finally offered to redo it but we were already running late to an event because we spent over 2 hours in there just for 2 pedis and a mani, so rather than admit their mistake and not charge us for it or at least give us a good discount, the next best thing they were willing to offer was $15 off the next visit, which we politely declined and told them that there would be no next visit because this one was simply horrible.
While there we also witnessed one of the workers drop a margarita cup on the floor, landing with the rim on the floor and then pick it up and proceed to salt the rim and serve a drink to someone in it.
Just overall a really bad experience that we were forced to pay for, for what was supposed to be part of an anniversary/birthday celebration. The employees gave the overall impression that they would rather be elsewhere and it showed in their poor work, lack of care, and disregard for cleanliness and the health and satisfaction of their customers.

Read moreThe nail tech Karen was rough, rude, and blamed my nails for her mistake.
My mother and I came in an hour before closing time on a Saturday. We were rushed to pick a dip powder color. My lady Karen did the dip process and everything looked good until she started filing my nails. She does not have a good eye for evenness, overall appeal, or a straight line! I asked her to fix the diagonal line on my index finger. She filed my nail down to a skinny, nasty, Shrek looking, pinky toe sized index finger nail. IT LOOKED DISGUSTING! Karen said that it was the way my nail was. My nails are not narrow. The service was already not going well because she kept cutting my cuticle with the drill. She drilled my nails into thick squares with no roundness or evenness. I talked to the lady at the front desk. I was worried about where this nail service was going. She asked the nail tech that worked on my mom to fix Karen's mistakes. Mary did the best she could to fix it but when you file a nail down to a sliver there is only so much you can do. They offered 10% off my dip nail service which was kind of surprising...only 10%? I will never be back. I'm sorry, my nails look fugly.
and one more thing
I was a little off put by Karen asking me to wipe my nails off with the cotton ball while she works on my other hand to remove my previous dip nails. I'm a cosmetologist. I NEVER ask my clients to help me...
Read moreDecent(at best) pedicure and possibly the worst eyebrow wax I've ever recieved. The receptionist was extremely polite and seated my mom and I quickly for pedicures. Both of the nails tecs barely spoke to us, even after some attempts to start conversation. My nail tec was very rough with filing my nails and clipped my nails down so far that she cut skin. My mothers tec dig into the side of her toe so bad that it was still sore hours later. After finishing with our toes and paying I noticed they did brow waxing and asked if there was someone available. Knowing they had recently gotten really busy I told them if everyone was busy that I didn't need them done. (I'm a hair stylist and know how busy salons can get) a girl came out and told me to hurry back to a wax room. She very quickly started waxing my brows. She did not clean my skin before applying the(Too hot) wax and immediatly ripping it off. As someone who also does brow waxing she did not wait the right amount of time to take the strip off. She only did 4 wax strips and had to tweeze more that she waxed. She handed me a mirror and left the room. Did say a single word to me and I found, and used the aloe gel myself. I might return to get my nails done but will NEVER get my brows done. Unprofessional and...
