You may have heard the phrase “the greatest thing from sliced bread” before, but I am here to tell you that there actually is a magical substance even greater than the invention of sliced bread: Texas Toast. Texas Toast is more than just buttered bread because of the seasoning and the shape of the bread, not to mention the great pleasure associated with consuming this spectacular substance. One reason Texas Toast is more than just buttered bread is that it has an amazing palate of seasoning. As most people know, Texas Toast has butter spread over it, but what makes it different is that there is more butter in Texas toast than regular toast, making it melt in your mouth. In addition to the butter, Texas Toast often has a garlic season spread across it once it comes out of the oven. This gives it immense flavor. In addition to Texas Toast’s flavor, what truly makes Texas Toast stand out is its unique shape and texture. Texas Toast is cut from a shorter, more square shaped loaf with a curved top. In addition to this unique shape, Texas Toast is cut at double the thickness of an average piece of bread, which in turn brings many benefits. Because of its larger thickness, whenever it is toasted in the oven, the outside becomes very crisp while the inside still remains very soft and buttery. Additionally, the increased thickness allows for more butter and flavoring to be observed into the bread without saturating it or (heaven forbid) it loses its shape. Now some may say that Texas Toast is just buttered bread, and that there is nothing special to it. They are correct that there is butter involved, but there is so much more. With Texas Toast being absolutely delicious to consume, it even has its own following. There is even lots of merchandise where people can show their affection towards Texas Toast. Mitch Hedberg even states "I like Texas because it's the only state ballsy enough to have its own toast." You may know the saying “everything is bigger in Texas,” and this certainly applies to Texas toast with its thicker slices. With all this following, Texas toast is way more than “buttered bread.” With Texas Toast’s unique shape and palate of flavors, it is clear to see that it is not “some buttered bread.” So the next time you are in the mood for a delicious treat, make sure to remember to have a bite of some Texas Toast, and you...
Read moreI wanted to give a shout out to a great guy who is in my view the King of "Back in Time" Escape Rooms. His name is Jareth, not to be confused with the Goblin King from the movie labyrinth. This man has more energy then most people that have taken 10 large monster energy drinks and survived. He knows the whole place and is absolutely very accommodating to answer questions and make you feel welcome. I'm encouraging people that want to learn how to use their cognitive abilities to find truth and uncover hidden secrets to actually go to these games and to use this opportunity to become a detective of your own. I've included the prices I've included the names of the games and some of the other merchandise that you can get from the place which of course is all very reasonable and by all means bring your family to these things because this is an entire group sport fun activity. This is your chance to learn that you are in fact capable of solving crimes and to make a difference in the world when you're not actually trapped and in the side of a room. People will be there the whole time to make sure that if you're claustrophobic that you can get out and if you get stumped with some sort of question or a hidden clue they can give you some hints. But I want you to take the time to go and meet Jareth and realize that this guy is the genuine article of salesmanship and customer service perfection he is your friend and he is going to make you want to come back to that place again and again with all of your friends so that you can win. If you lose don't worry it's a game and there are funny little signs that you can hold up at the end to let your inadequacies be blamed on somebody else. Happy hunting my good friends on the escape room and I hope you don't get trapped for real. Hahaha...
Read moreWe had such an amazing time at this escape room! From start to finish, the experience was completely immersive – every detail of the room pulled us into the story and made it feel so real. The puzzles had a fantastic flow; nothing felt out of place or like a random “filler” clue. Everything made sense within the theme, which kept us engaged and excited as we worked through each challenge.
Our game master, Jareth, was incredible – super friendly and welcoming, but never intrusive. He struck the perfect balance of being available if needed without offering hints that might spoil the satisfaction of solving things ourselves. It made the entire experience even more enjoyable.
We did 3 of the 4 rooms while on our vacation at the Frisco location, and will dedicated be back to complete the last room there. Since we had such a great experience at this location, we also intend on visiting their other locations.
Also they had rooms that were wheelchair accessible (which has been challenging for us at some other establishments), so we greatly appreciated Back In Time for having these accommodations for daughter.
We can’t wait to come back and try another room and we absolutely recommend anyone who loves escape rooms...
