I’m a vegetarian and I don’t eat eggs but my wife do. We are all fasting (no eggs) for this festive season. We wanted to buy the paneer biriyani and I asked the bakery team at Patel brothers to confirm if it was the paneer biriyani as they had other Biriyanis as well like egg and veg that time. I confirmed couple of times with her and she confirmed me that it was paneer. Also on the lid it’s written as Paneer (as you all can see in the image), so we brought it with us at 8.30 PM. When we opened the pack my wife tasted the biriyani and found something odd and when she started to extract all, to our surprise she got an egg inside. I was shocked and also my wife felt really bad as she was fasting. I went back to Patel brothers next day all the way driving 18 miles, their response is soooo poor and negligent and consistently saying this is not they mad and they got it from other vendor. I was like, I am paying it to you and it’s your responsibility to keep the customers happy and instead of blaming where they got from they should understand that Patel brothers are selling it to the customers and not the vendor directly to the customers. My concern is, I’m a vegetarian and I don’t even eat eggs, what if I tasted it or what happens when they say veg biriyani and the give me chicken, their response is going to be like “I don’t care but I will talk to my vendor”. I will become sinned religiously right and it’s against my principles but it doesn’t matter for them. They didn’t even bother to apologize and provide a compensation, instead every time they were like it’s not our problem, it’s our vendor’s problem. Then tell me your vendor name, I will buy it from him directly, at least vendor and customers can directly deal with it instead of paying YOU the money. Pathetic place this is. I warn all vegetarians to be mindful when you buy any food from Patel brothers. They don’t care about customer relationship and hell with their stupid response and pathetic business running strategy (without bothering...
Read moreI recently moved to Frisco. Was living earlier in Raleigh, then edison and then Houston. And even had experience shopping in Tampa. One thing that bothers me is lack of consistent experience across the locations. When I decided to move from Houston to Dallas metro area, I thought I will have more fresh veggies especially with the Indian crowd we have. But my experience is just Avg. Most of the time veggies are either not fresh or in a state that doesn't draw our attention. We know the veggies are not organic but all we look for is fresh veggies and apparently you just have to be lucky to get fresh veggies. This is my experience in multiple stores across Frisco and Plano. I felt my experience is much better with keemat and parivar stores in Houston hillcroft area. I hope the store tries their best to get more fresh veggies or probably follow some schedule and communicate to the regular members on arrival of fresh veggies before they go stale.
Update on 18-Jan. It's only getting worse. How is it possible that almost all veggies are never fresh, unless they are ensuring people buy the ready to go stale items and only then the shelves are filled with new stock. And this time I had bad experience with garlic aswell. Right after 8 open I see insects in them. Quality is just...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of shopping at Patel Brothers in Frisco, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. The store was clean, organized, and well-stocked with a wide variety of products. The staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to assist me in finding what I needed.
I was particularly impressed with the quality and freshness of the produce section. The fruits and vegetables were vibrant and looked incredibly fresh, and the prices were reasonable as well. Additionally, the store had a great selection of spices, grains, and other specialty items that are often hard to find elsewhere.
I also appreciated the efforts made by Patel Brothers to cater to a diverse customer base. They had a wide range of international products, allowing me to explore and try new cuisines. It was a delight to find ingredients from different cultures all under one roof.
Overall, my experience at Patel Brothers Frisco was exceptional. I left the store feeling satisfied with my purchases and excited to return for future shopping trips. I highly recommend Patel Brothers to anyone looking for a well-stocked grocery store with excellent...
