This wine tour was not worth the money to me. First the bus is extremely cramped and packed full so if you plan on trying to have a snack or drink between stops there is no room to do so. We went on a unseasonably hot day and the temperature inside the bus was unbearable. We were all soaked through with sweat by the time we got to our first stop. There was no guided tour or really much exploring or enjoying any of the views of the wineries. We would be immediately corralled into an area as soon as we got there for the tasting to begin. The tastings had a lot of choices for people depending on what they liked i.e. sweet vs dry. It was nice to be able to sample so many wines and try new things. I just don’t think it was worth the month paying $80+/person when the tastings at the wineries were like $7 each and we only did one at each. It was very very rushed you barely finished your first sip before they were standing waiting to pour the next one. If you enjoyed a wine and wanted to get a glass your only option was to take one to go on the cramped and hot bus no time to sit and enjoy the views. On top of that our driver was so reckless and fast on the hilly landscape I couldn’t even enjoy the last winery because I was so carsick and nauseous between the heat of the van and taking the hills at 60 MPH. The only nice thing was having someone to drive so you could indulge in some very rushed...

Our tour guide, Paige was not your ideal "wine expert". She was very unprofessional. It looked as if this was her first tour ever. And if that was truly the case, she was not prepared and she acted as if she didn't want to be there.
Throughout the (extremely short) tour our guide attempted to spit out facts. I'd say 75% of the facts that she stated ended with "I think" or a negative comment that nobody found funny. I think it's safe to say that she wasn't informed enough to teach and that the people paying for the tour knew more about making wine than she did.
The wine tasting after the tour was extremely unorganized. The people who got to the bar first had first class service and had a few glasses of wine before the people in the back even got a chance to see their options. They paid no attention to us until my mother in law decided to wave a sheet of paper until they noticed us and even then we struggled to be served.
All in all I would say skip the wine tour. It is a waste of money. If you do go, i would recommend doing the wine tasting only. The wine is fabulous. Maybe we came on an off day but even if that was the case I will not be giving them a...
Read moreWe utilized Countryside Tours for a bachelorette party weekend. This company is courteous, organized, and provides a wonderful, stress-free experience. The coordination was unmatched - each winery provided tastings with no wait and great service, and the bus drivers were so competent! We visited three wineries in about four hours, which was a nice, unhurried pace. I highly recommend Countryside Tours for a group outing, especially if you're unfamiliar with the area and just want to enjoy without worrying...
