I feel like the pastries and cakes would probably be worth the drive and wait if it wasn't for the inconsistent service. Unfortunately, our first visit here would have to be the last due to the service we experienced. Our admission to being first-time visitors was seemingly met with annoyance from the one that decided to serve us. OK- I would've let that slide considering it was nearing the end of the day (6pm). But suddenly not attending to us and letting our box of cakes hang in limbo was the last straw- we stood a few minutes after she filled out box wondering what to do next because the person holding the box left it on the counter and suddenly left the store without telling us what to do next or giving anyone else behind the counter a heads up. It was only after everyone was served, checked out, and cleared that another worker noticed a filled box and asked whos box it was (we were the only ones left in the store, so the filled box stood out). In addition, we were dismayed at the amount of workers in the kitchen area wearing their masks on their chin. We really wanted to like this place from all the recommendations from friends and family, but due to this experience, I can't recommend it myself. Reading some of the other 2/3/4-star reviews seems to reinforce my opinions of this place. On the good side, the cakes are not too sweet and are probably worth the local hype, hence the extra star.

This is an update from a 4star to a 2star. I've had it. Been consistently understanding their behavior but it should be pointed out so that maybe, just maybe they can think of improving. Cakes and everything are still good, specially the Kievski and bird milk. That's the reason for the 2 stars. Thing is they always mess up the writings you request on the cake. It's ok if they try to correct or apologize but they also would try to not show it to you unless you ask to see it before they pack it (but If there is nothing wrong with the writing they show it to you before closing the box). Then no apologies nor any attempt to correct it and would act like nothing's wrong. It's like you just have to accept it. Better to request a happy bday, anniv, etc. sign that you can just stick on the cake than have them write it. **** The kievski with nuts is a must. Love the birds milk cake too. There are many other options which are also really good. Their cake designs are also nice. Prices are not as cheap as the other bakeries but worth it.

I came here for their Kievsky cake. If you don’t know what a Kievsky cake is, it’s similar to the French Dacquoise cake, or the Filipino Sans Rival cake. Between the layers of cake there is a crispy sweet merengue layer. Usually there are variations of nuts included in the cake, like almonds, cashews, walnuts, etc. Sometimes a dacquoise cake will include fruit or fruit jam within the layers. At Karina’s Bakery the Kievsky cake is sold with and without nuts, so those with nut allergies can enjoy this decadent dessert. Also some of their ready made Kievsky cakes include fruit on top as decoration. There are many other beautifully presented pastries in their bakery case to choose from which are equally as yummy. While there are only two parking spots in the front of the bakery, know that additional parking is available in the back. It’s a popular bakery, so expect a line. But be assured the line goes fairly quick. Enjoy!

So sad but after 15 years of being a customer We have to change our bakery. New management doesn’t work for us. Place an order for a BD cake 3 weeks in advance. First, no one could take my order for three days, have been told it’s the best to do it online. I did. Called to confirm it , they got it, reassured me, done. Three days before the pick up day just in case called to confirm it once again and what a surprise they did get it. After long conversation on the phone I have been told and explained how I supposed to do my order after 15 years of being a customer . What ever I had to do I did. Still no apology, our fault , sorry , let’s make it happen. Nope...... next day I called to cancel it, friend of mine wanted to give my son a cake gift made by her, no one picked up, send an email with a cancelation message, next morning called to make sure they got it, no one picked up. I have all records of all my calls and emails. Reach me I can provide all the info. At the time of pick up they called me, so they don’t check their emails, they don’t check their missed calls and they don’t have an option to leave a...

If you have a sweet tooth, then this bakery is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you step inside, you're surrounded by the delightful scent of freshly baked treats that are sure to tempt you. This bakery specializes in all things sweet, and they certainly deliver.

I tried a few different items, including a classic chocolate chip cookie, a frosted cupcake, and a gooey cinnamon roll. Each item was absolutely delicious, with just the right balance of sweetness and flavor. The cookie was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, with plenty of melty chocolate chips throughout. The cupcake was moist and fluffy, with a generous amount of creamy frosting on top. And the cinnamon roll was just the right amount of gooey and sweet, with a perfect balance of cinnamon and sugar.

What I appreciated most about this bakery was the attention to detail that went into each item. Each treat was clearly made with care and precision, and it showed in the final product. The bakery also had a great variety of items, including gluten-free and vegan options, which was...
