
This gym is absolutely a waste of money. The equipment is very old never being upgraded in over 10 years. A couple new pieces were added but the old just keeping getting older. The plates are falling apart. The bathrooms are always disgusting. Don't tell me about the cleaning staff when the same marks in the sinks stay for months at a time. Things rarely get fixed, mostly band-aided. I had a contract renewal price they suddenly increased as well. That was the final straw. I finally quit here and found a real gym. This one is not it. The scam of this place is the ridiculous monthly fee and the enhancement fee that NEVER enhances anything but the owners' pockets. I wish they would have raised my fee years ago so I would have looked for a new gym sooner. Edit: You need a 30 day notice when cancelling and they cancelled my access before the 30 days was up. I ended up going back in and to be fair, the bathrooms were clean that time. The plates are still falling apart. The weight room was moved around in an absurd way to cover a spot in the floor that was sinking in for years. Instead of fixing it correctly, they covered it, another bandage. Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt has a smell most days. It's an old location and it shows. A little dirty, but you wouldn't notice unless you go often and have been to other locations. Like most gyms the members are nasty. They do foul things in the bathroom and leave the mess for others to clean up. I would say the only advantage is that it is literally open 24/7 and not some weird hours like other gyms. Also the private showers if you need that (but be prepared to clean up after the children before use)
If you don't need a gym with a shower, and generally do fitness during normal business hours then you would be spending way too much money for an experience that isn't better than Planet Fitness.
I am a bit disappointed with the cost (including the "gym enhancement fee") when compared to the service, but that's most everything now.
Maybe if I could actually see the "enhancement" and not a dilapidating building it might help. Otherwise it seems to only "enhance" their pockets.
