Without trying to exaggerate at all, this was probably the worst experience in a hotel I have ever experienced (Besides a sewer pipe busting at a hotel in Santiago Chile). We were in Las Vegas for our son’s soccer tournament and required to stay at this hotel. We checked into the hotel without any issues, the girl at the front desk was very nice. Soon after checking in things went downhill very fast. We were placed into a handicap access room directly across the hall from the main elevator. The room was equipped with the audio and visual doorbell on the wall right next to the elevator. Just imagine several youth teams (Soccer, Baseball and Volleyball teams) in one hotel with kids everywhere going up and down the elevator and ringing that bell…….. We quickly requested another room. The girl at the desk again was very nice but had to call her manager. The hotel manager was extremely rude and said that we could not move and threatened to call the police and have us removed from the hotel for being “threatening” to her employees???? When I got on the phone I simply stated that being displeased with a room was in no way being threatening. I don’t think she liked that we were NOT HAPPY with our placement. So after an hour or so another girl was at the front desk and moved our room with no problem whatsoever? How a room magically opened up for this employee we weren’t sure of but didn’t ask any questions. We quickly moved our stuff before anyone could change their mind. If our team was not at this hotel I would have moved hotels in ½ a second. The second day we were there, we were out of the room the entire day returning around 6pm to find that our room had not been cleaned. Of course all of housekeeping was gone for the day and they offered us sheets and towels to do it ourselves. The 3rd day we were there they still didn’t clean our room, and we decided at that point is was on purpose. The hot tub chemical were off the entire time and had foam coming rolling out of the water onto the sidewalk and they never provided any towels out by the hot tub to dry off anyway. I would definite recommend staying at a different location if you are able. This probably deterred me staying at any choice hotels from...
Read moreTheft of deposit. Arrived to find TV was not working, notified staff, went out to dinner and we were changed rooms when we returned. Room was great, although after almost a week after checking out, I called to ask about my deposit, I was then told my deposit was being kept due to not reporting the bathroom faucet being broken. I asked to speak to a manager who stated that the cleaning staff reported the faucet broken, It was not. My girlfriend and I used the bathroom to get ready before we left that day. Absolutely no issues. Manager stated that if it was reported , I would have not been charged. I reminded the Manager that I had reported a previous issue, to which she agreed and stated that it was noted in their records. I mentioned that that shows I would have no problem reporting another issue - but the faucet was not broken. Manager chose not to believe me although did choose to refund half the deposit stating that $100 seemed exorbitant amount for a faucet. This being my third call about their error, I didn’t want to continue to spend time on this which I told the Manager. I thanked her although I will never stay at any Comfort Inn again. To state that if the fake issue was reported I wouldn’t have been charged, and to agree in the next sentence that we had already reported a previous issue, then not believe that the faucet wasn’t broken is something I don’t understand. The hotel was filled with underage baseball players that weekend participating in a tournament and I believe they may have confused our room. This is basically theft and I will not use Comfort Inn services ever again which is sad because I travel a lot, and I’ve stayed in this particular Comfort Inn previously , and have had great...
Read moreAfter having a terrible 8 hour stay at a different hotel chain, my fiance and I checked out at 11pm and arrived at the Comfort Inn in Henderson, NV around midnight. We had called upon checking out of the other hotel and the person at the Comfort Inn front desk, I believe her name is Monica, was extremely helpful in assisting us. We were welcomed with open arms when we showed up at midnight. We were given a discount, which was so helpful since the previous hotel we were in made us pay full price even though we left disgusted at 11pm and didn't stay the night. Well, moving on, we got there and it was so nice and quiet, the rooms were clean, anything we asked for assistance with was taken care of. They did not have a room available with 1 king bed, so we had to settle for 2 queens which was fine, and were told to come down before 2pm the next day if we wanted to switch to a room with 1 king. I came down the next afternoon and the person at the desk that time, named Chris (hope I spelled it right), was also extremely helpful. I asked if there was a 1 king bed room available on the same floor we were in so we wouldn't have to drag our luggage so far. He immediately had someone go check to make sure there was a clean room, and we switched to a perfect room just down the hall. I didn't get a chance to go in the pool, but my window was facing it and it looked extremely clean, just as the rest of the hotel. We got great sleep, enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, and were able to relax. We were able to control the temperature in our room as well which was a plus. Overall, this Comfort Inn...
